ECGC PO refers to “Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India Probationary Officer”.The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, is the owner of the government-owned export credit provider known as the Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India (ECGC). The entire organisation, which has its headquarters in Mumbai, supports Indian exporters by offering export credit insurance.
By supporting the Indian export business with affordable insurance and trade-related services to fulfil the expanding needs of the Indian export market through the best use of available resources, ECGC's purpose is to promote and enable the globalisation of India's commerce. ECGC recruits Probationary Officers (PO) through an online written test and interview.
An objective examination, a descriptive test, and an interview are all included in the ECGC PO exam format. The ECGC PO exam pattern is designed to evaluate candidates' personalities and academic prowess in order to determine whether they are suitable for the position.

There will be two levels, an objective test and a descriptive test, in the online written exam.
Five portions make up the objective exam, and you have the allotted time to finish each section. 140 minutes are allotted for answering 200 questions in total.
In the objective paper, candidates have to opt the right option from all of the available options.
Every portion of the objective paper will have a sectional time.
In the objective paper, applicants will receive 1 mark for each correct response, while incorrect responses will result in a deduction of 0.25 marks.
Once the specified time for the objective paper has finished, the descriptive paper will begin.
Descriptive test has two questions worth 20 marks each. One is essay writing and other is precise writing which are to be typed on the computer itself. Total time allotted for descriptive exam is 40 min.
Candidates must pass both the written exam to advance to the interview part. The interview part is worth 60 marks.
The Reasoning ability, English language, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, and Quantitative Aptitude components of the ECGC PO Syllabus are all covered in detail. The marks for each segment will be distinct. In addition, there are two portions in the Mains exam. However, there is no set syllabus for the Interview exam.
The number of attempts to take part in the ECGC PO recruiting is unrestricted. Candidates may apply for positions up until they pass the test or reach the maximum age range. However, if you have the appropriate approach and resources, you can ace the ECGC PO exam on your very first try.
The ECGC PO eligibility requirements were made public by ECGC officials.
