Exam Pattern of ECGC PO

In short,

  • There will be two levels, an objective test and a descriptive test, in the online written exam.

  • Every portion of the objective paper will have a sectional time.

  • In the objective paper, applicants will receive 1 mark for each correct response, while incorrect responses will result in a deduction of 0.25 marks.

  • Once the specified time for the objective paper has finished, the descriptive paper will begin.

  • Descriptive test has two questions worth 20 marks each. One is essay writing and other is precise writing which are to be typed on the computer itself. Total time allotted for descriptive exam is 40 min.

  • Candidates must pass both the written exam to advance to the interview part. The interview part is worth 60 marks.
