UPCATET Exam 2025: Application Form (Released), Exam Date (Out), Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus

The Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur, released the application form of UPCATET 2025 on March 17. Aspirants can fill the form from its official website till May 7. Candidates should check all the details mentioned in the UPCATET application form 2025 before submitting the form. It should be noted that the fee will not be refunded if UPCATET application form is rejected by the exam-conducting body. Steps to Fill the UPCATET 2025 Application Form

Candidates are advised to follow these steps to fill the UPCATET 2025 application form. 

STEP 1: Registration

• Click on the ‘Apply Online’ link given on the official website at upcatet.net.

• Press the ‘Click here for new registration’ tab. 

• Read the instructions carefully and click on ‘I agree’ and continue

• Type in a valid mobile number and email ID in the registration window.

• An OTP will be sent to the given mobile number for verification.

STEP 2: Application Form

• Use the given registration number to log in and fill the application form. 

• Fill in the Date of Birth as the password.

• Candidates can now fill in the application form.

• Candidates must fill in their Personal Details, Examination Details, Academic Details, exam centre choice, exam group choice, Aadhar number etc on the application form.

• Along with this candidates also need to upload a photograph, signature and thumb impression image.

STEP 3: Registration Fee Payment

• Click on the Registration Fee Payment option

• Enter the Registration Number and Date of Birth

• Read the instructions given and click on the submit button and then click on confirm.

• Candidates can choose the payment mode of their choice from the options given. 

After completing the application process and submitting the application form candidates could take a print out of the completed application form for further reference.

Documents Required to Fill UPCATET Application Form 2025

• Valid email ID and mobile number

• Scanned image of candidate’s photograph

• Scanned image of candidate’s signature

• Scanned image of candidate’s right index fingerprint.

• Caste Certificate/Disability Certificate

Candidates preparing for the entrance examination are advised to get familiar with the UPCATET 2025 exam pattern. Understanding the UPCATET exam pattern is essential for scoring good marks. The question paper of UPCATET 2025 carries 200 objective type questions, amounting to a total of 600 marks.

Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, candidates are awarded three marks and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.

Qualifying Marks: To qualify the entrance exam candidates belonging to the General and OBC category must secure a minimum 20 percent of the total marks while candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories must score a minimum of 10 percent of the total marks.

The Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur, will release the UPCATET admit card 2025 on May 27. Candidates will download the admit card from May 27 to June 9, 2025. Candidates who have successfully submitted the application form can download the UPCATET 2025 admit card by using their registration number, password and security PIN. If candidates cannot download their UPCATET admit card 2025, they can visit the admission office of the exam-conducting body with a few passport-size photographs and pay Rs. 100 to get a copy of the admit card. 

Steps To Download UPCATET 2025 Admit Card

Follow the given instruction to download their UPCATET admit card 2025.

• Go to the official UPCATET website at upcatet.net.

• Press the official link for ‘UPCATET Admit Card’.

• Choose the programme and group of paper, enter registration number/roll number and date of birth.

• Click on the ‘Login’ tab.

• The UPCATET admit card will appear on your screen.

• Print out a few copies of the UPCATET admit card for future reference.

The Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur, will declare the UPCATET result in June 2025. The result of UPCATET 2025 was made available on the official website of the exam conducting body. The candidates who have appeared in the examination can check the UPCATET 2025 result by entering their roll number and date of birth in the login window. The UPCATET result carries various key details such as name of the candidates, roll number, rank, marks and qualifying status. Candidates are advised to download their result and retain it till the admission process is over.

Candidates whose names appear in the UPCATET 2025 seat allotment need to get admission in their preferred UG and PG programmes. The UPCATET counselling 2024 will be conducted in three phases - first and second through online mode, one round in offline mode. Follow the given steps to participate in the counselling.

Step 1: Registration

• Candidates have to register themselves online by entering their registered mobile number, email ID and date of birth.

• After registration, candidates need to upload scanned copies of their documents, marks sheets, certificates, etc.

Step 2: Choice filling and Locking

• Here, candidates have to choose from the list of colleges provided and lock in their choices. Candidates must note that once given, there will be no provision to alter the choices.

Step 3: Seat Allotment and Security Fee Deposit

• Candidates need to deposit a security fee of Rs 5000.

• The UPCATET conducting body provides a merit list containing the names of candidates as per the choices they provided in the choice filling round.

• Candidates are advised to print and keep a copy of the merit list in hand

Step 4: Reporting To the University

• Candidates are expected to report to the university allotted to them along with the fee receipt, documents and allocation letters.
