If you are not from Kerala, then you must receive up to 60 percent of the possible marks. If your rank falls below 2000, you will be admitted to the main campus; otherwise, you will be admitted to the second campus. I would advise you to enrol in any branch on the main campus if you are interested in cusat. Therefore, if you want to study a good branch like cse or safety, you must score more than 75 percent in order to get admitted to the main campus.

Marks in 2014 was around 250–260 rank:1257

Marks in 2015 was around 420–430 rank :150

The scores mentioned above were calculated as per the answer keys published by CUSAT, Both the ranks were in General category.

Also, there are two campuses. Depending on which one you like, For admission to the first campus, your rank must be between 1000 and 1200–1300. However, the variations are more pronounced on the second campus. Sometimes it reaches a rank of 5000–6000, while other times it stays at 2500–3000. Attending an admission round on the spot will improve your chances.

There is no age limit for CUSAT CAT. Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from the state board of Kerala or any other boards and should have Mathematics and Physics as compulsory and Chemistry as an optional subject in their Class 12 th exam to be eligible for the exam. Candidates should have secured at least 50% marks in Mathematics and overall 50% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. The authority has released the CUSAT CAT 2022 application form on its official website. Applicants can access the CUSAT CAT application form from the official website.

You need to first concentrate on your 12 th standard board exams because passing of the exama is compulsory. So, you can spend minimum 3 to 4 hours per day till you complete your Board exam and then you can increase studying to 5 to 7 hours per day.

Preparation Tips for CUSAT CAT.

First make a note of the syllabus and get idea of it.

Prepare your own short notes.

Make flow chart of the concepts to remember them easily.

First prepare the topics you feel easy, to boost up your confidence.

After than go for tough subjects prepration.

After completion of the syllabus preparation then solve previous year's papers.

See the type of questions asked in previous years and prepare accordingly.

Then go for sample papers solving.

Then take sample or practice tests.

Finally revise all the syllabus.

Organized by Cochin University of Science and Technology, CUSAT CAT is the examination for candidates aspiring to pursue courses like BBA, B.Tech, LLB, M.Tech, M.Phil, MCA, MBA, MA, M.Sc at different colleges operating under CUSAT.

for undergraduate courses the age limit is  The candidates must be 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2022 to be eligible for CUSAT CAT 2022. The maximum age limit for a candidate to apply for UG courses is 25 years before 30th September 2022.

for post graduate courses there is no age limit.

so yes you can appear for CUSAT CAT at the age of 33 for pg courses.
