GUJCET Exam 2026 - Application Form (Out), Date, Syllabus, Pattern, Eligibility, Cutoff, Result

Applicants who will appear for the Gujarat CET exam can check their GUJCET 2026 results at gseb.org. Candidates will be required to enter their six-digit seat number to view their GUJCET results 2026. To get an OMR sheet xerox copy, candidates must apply on the official website within the time given. The steps to check the GUJCET result are given below.

ACPC prepared the merit list of GUJCET 2026 in order to shortlist the candidates for the counselling process. The final GUJCET merit list hes been prepared by giving 60% weightage to the 10+2th (or equivalent) percentile and 40% weightage to the GUJCET percentile. Candidates who are ranked high in the GUJCET merit list 2026 will be called first for counselling and thus stand a better chance of getting their preferred seat.

GSEB has released the GUJCET eligibility criteria on the official website. Applicants filling the GUJCET application form 2026 must check the eligibility criteria.  It comprises nationality, academic qualification, qualifying marks and others. In case a candidate doesn’t meet the eligibility criteria of GUJCET 2026, but qualifies in the entrance exam, the candidate will still be disqualified from the admission process. GUJCET B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Indian nationals are eligible to appear in the exam.

• State Eligibility: The candidate needs to be a bona-fide resident of Gujarat. In such cases where the candidate is a bona-fide resident but is residing in another, the candidate is eligible to appear in the admission process.

• Academic Qualification: The candidates must have passed the 10+2 (or equivalent) exam from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar/CBSE Delhi/CISCE New Delhi/NIOS/International School Board. Candidates who are appearing in their final exam in 2020 are also eligible.

• Qualifying Marks: Minimum required aggregate score in 45% marks (reserved category candidates need 40% marks).

GUJCET B.Pharma Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality – Indian citizens are eligible.

• State Eligibility – The candidate must be a resident of Gujarat. If the candidate is a bona-fide resident but is residing in another, in such cases also the candidate is eligible to appear in the exam.

• Academic Qualification – The candidates must have passed the 10+2 (or equivalent) exam from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar/CBSE Delhi/CISCE New Delhi/NIOS/International School Board. Candidates who are appearing in their final exam in 2020 are also eligible. The candidate must have studied Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with any one of Maths or Biology.

• Qualifying Marks – Minimum required aggregate score in 45% marks ( reserved category candidates need 40% marks).

The authority has extended the GUJCET 2026 registration with a late fee till January 16, 2026. Candidates have to pay a late fee of Rs 1000 while applying during the late fee window. The  GUJCET 2026 registration last date is January 6, 2026, on the official website, gujcet.gseb.org. Candidates have to fulfil the eligibility criteria to register for the GUJCET exam. Steps to fill GUJCET 2026 Application Form

The step-wise process to fill out the application form for GUJCET 2026 is given below for reference:

• Exam registration- Provide basic details like name, mobile number email ID to register. The candidate login portal will be activated which must be used for all further processes.

• Fee payment- Candidates must pay the GUJCET 2026 application fee in online mode.  The payment of Rs. 350 will be allowed through the SBI Epay System (credit card/debit card/net banking) or from any SBI branch of the Country through the SBI Epay Option of “SBI Branch Payment.” 

• Filling out the application Form - Enter personal, academic, and contact details while filling out the GUJCET application form 2026

• Uploading of documents - The scanned photograph and signature of the candidate must be uploaded in the prescribed format.

• Final submission - Check the details carefully and submit the GUJCET 2026 application form. An application number will be generated after submission of the application form.

Applicants got an opportunity to correct the details provided while registering for the exam. GSEB conducted the GUJCET application form correction facility in online mode. Moreover, candidates were be able to send their request to change details in the application form by post or by visiting the GUJCET cell, Gandhinagar with the necessary documents in person.

The exam authority has released the exam pattern of the Gujarat CET in the official notification. Applicants appearing for the exam must refer to the exam pattern before starting their preparations. GUJCET exam pattern 2026 comprises marking scheme, duration of exam, number of questions, the language of the paper and others. Aspirants can check the preparation tips to score good marks in GUJCET 2026. It is advised to start their preparation at least 6 months before the test. Here are some crucial Gujarat CET preparation tips-

• Exam Pattern and Syllabus- Understand the exam pattern and syllabus of GUJCET 2026 beforehand to know about the topics asked and their marking scheme. It will help to plan the exam strategy.
• Study plan - Once the exam pattern and syllabus are known, students must prepare a good study plan according to their strengths and weaknesses. It is important to stick to this timetable for effective preparation.
• Books- Class 11th and 12th books can be used as starter material for GUJCET exam preparation. However, candidates should refer to the best books for GUJCET 2026.
• Revision- It is the most important step. Students should revise the topics regularly to avoid missing out on any key points. As it is said revision is the key; it must not be left.
• GUJCET Sample Papers and mock tests- Practicing using the sample papers and mock test will determine the level of preparation. It is because by solving sample papers of GUJCET and taking mock tests, the candidate will be able to understand concepts better, going beyond simple rote learning. It would also help the candidate strengthen problem-solving skills, and help identify weak areas and develop time management skills. 

In case the candidate is not able to get sample papers of GUJCET 2026, they may use sample papers of JEE Main or Advanced, which are more easily available. Considering JEE Main sample papers include more advanced types of questions, if the candidate does enough practice, the GUJCET exam will feel like a breeze!

The authority will issue the GUJCET 2026 admit card tentatively on March 23, 2026. Candidates who will submit the Gujarat application form will be able to download the admit card through login. The GUJCET 2026 admit card can be accessed using the registered mobile number/email ID and date of birth/application number. It is mandatory to carry their GUJCET hall ticket 2026 along with one valid ID proof. GSEB will release the final GUJCET 2026 answer key on the official website. Candidates were able to raise objections to the answer key of GUJCET through email with supporting documents and e-challan receipt of Rs 500 per question. By comparing the official answers, students can calculate the total number of questions correctly attempted and consequently the probable score. Applicants have to follow the marking scheme prescribed by GSEB while using the GUJCET 2026 answer key. The probable score can be used by the candidate to assess his/her chances of admission without having to wait for results.

The round 3 GUJCET cutoff 2026 will be released on the official website. The authority also published the list of GUJCET participating institutes in the counselling brochure. These colleges determine the course-wise cutoffs of GUJCET 2026 for admission to various B.Tech/B.E programmes. GUJCET 2026 cutoff is category- and branch-specific, which is generally the minimum marks below which admission is not offered. 

So, candidates need to score equal to or higher than the GUJCET cutoff 2026 for the specific institute and branch. Considering the cutoffs are prepared based on parameters like the number of sanctioned seats, applications received for admission, and the reputation of the institute, they tend to vary from one another.

ACPC will announce the GUJCET 2026 counselling dates on the official website, acpc.gujarat.gov.in. The GUJCET 2026counselling registration window will be activated after that. Candidates who qualified for the GUJCET entrance test had to register for the counselling process based on the GUJCET seat matrix and provisional merit list. GUJCET 2026 Seat Allotment

ACPC will announce the GUJCET 2026 seat allotment in three rounds. The authority will also publish the mock round GUJCET seat allotment online. Selected candidates will have to pay the partial tuition fee and download the allotment letter. The candidate who will be allotted a seat will be able to choose the option to freeze (accept) the seat or opt for up-gradation. If the seats remain vacant after students withdraw, additional spot/institute-level, separate counselling will also be conducted. The counselling process is then followed by admission formalities for shortlisted candidates and payment of the GUJCET course fee.
