IMU CET 2026 - The Indian Maritime University has commenced the IMU CET 2026 registration on the official website, imu.edu.in. Students who obtained at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the 10+2 exams and 50% marks in English in the class 10 and 12 exams are eligible to apply for the IMU CET exam. Candidates seeking admission to affiliated institutes of IMU /other DGS-approved Marine Training Institutes (MTIs) must have appeared for the IMU CET exam 2026. The authority will conduct the IMU CET exam on May 24, 2026. The IMU CET 2026 registration deadline is April 24, 2026.

B.Tech Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering (and also B.Sc Ship Building & Repair) A physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner has to be submitted. |
Eye Sight | B.Tech Marine Engineering (and also DNS courses leading to B.Sc Applied Nautical Science, B.Sc Nautical Science, B.Sc Maritime Science) Candidates mustn’t have any degree of squint or any morbid eye (or eyelid) condition. The candidate must have good binocular vision, the movement of the balls should be full in all directions, while the pupils should react normally to light and accommodation. Distance vision (unaided 0.5 (6/12) in each eye or 0.67 (6/9) in the better eye and 0.33 (6/18) in another eye. Normal colour vision shall be tested by the Ishihara test chart. |

Indian Maritime University will release the IMU CET third seat allotment 2026. The authority will conduct the IMU CET 2026 counselling registration likely from June 2026. Candidates who qualify for the IMU CET exam can participate in the counselling process. IMU CET counselling process comprises registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the allotted institute.
