Unit2 - Human and economic geography (World Patterns of Growth, Distribution and Density of Population; Determinants of Population Distribution; Human Migration : Past and Present; Population Problems of Developed and Developing Societies; Types and Patterns of Rural Settlements; Patterns of Urbanization in the World). (Resources: Components and Classification; Water, Iron Ore, Coal, Petroleum, Forests, and Fisheries Distribution, Utilization, and Conservation; Wheat, Rice, and Tea Production and Distribution Natural resource exploitation and environmental issues)- 15 marks.
Unit 3- Geography of India - marks 15.
unit 4- environment, development and planning - marks 15.
unit 5- Cartograpgy, statistics and surveying - marks 20.
