The Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) conducts the KMAT exam for admission into more than 189 institutes that offer MBA and MCA courses in Karnataka. The registration process for the phase 1 KMAT exam 2025 begins in online mode on May 14, 2025. The admit card for the KMAT Karnataka 2025 will be released in online mode. Candidates will be able to download the KMAT exam admit card at kmatindia.com. The phase 1 result of KMAT entrance exam 2025 will be announced on the official website.

    What is KMAT?

The Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) is a national-level entrance exam conducted in computer-based mode. KMAT Karnataka 2025 is the gateway for MBA/ MCA admission to various management colleges across the state of Karnataka. The KMAT was first conducted in 2003. Once the KMAT exam is conducted, candidates securing equal to or more than the KMAT exam cutoff will be called for the selection procedure. Each participating institute will release an individual cutoff and a list of selected candidates.

After the KMAT selection process, a final merit list will be prepared. This KMAT merit list will have the names of the students who have matched the cutoff and are selected for the further selection process, which includes the GD/PI round. Candidates will have to visit the counselling centre as per the schedule where the GD/PI rounds will be held.

On the basis of the KMAT 2025 score and GD/PI scores, a final merit list of the selected candidates will be declared and they will be called for document verification. The qualified candidates will then be offered final admission to KMAT colleges, which will contain the names of the shortlisted candidates.

                                                Correct Answer: INR 8,000

Solution : Let the amount invested in scheme A be $x$ and in scheme B be $y$
                                                Rate of A scheme = $\frac{8}{100}$ = 0.08
                                                Rate of B scheme = $\frac{10}{100}$ = 0.10
                                                Total invested amount INR 10,000
                                                ⇒ $x + y$ = 10,000
