What if i wrote met(manipal entrance test)and i am waiting for 4sem backlog result will they give admission for mca,and i will be waiting for 6sem result ,will approve my problem

kumardurgesh1802 18th Oct, 2024

Hello Girish,

If you have written the MET (Manipal Entrance Test) for MCA admission and are currently awaiting your 4th-semester backlog result, most universities, including Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), offer provisional admission to students in such situations. This means that you may be granted admission based on your MET score. However, it is important to clear your backlog and submit all necessary academic documents within the given timeframe before your admission can be confirmed.

Universities usually require that all previous degree courses be fully cleared before starting a postgraduate program like MCA. In your case, if you're also waiting for your 6th-semester result, ensure that all requirements are completed as soon as possible. MAHE may provide time for document submission, but backlogs must be resolved before the deadline for final admission confirmation.

To ensure a smooth process, it's a good idea to reach out to the admissions office at MAHE. Explain your situation regarding the pending results, and seek guidance on their specific policy for provisional admissions and backlog clearance. This will give you clarity on what steps you need to take to secure your MCA seat without issues.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

what is the cut off rank for B.Sc biotechnology at Manipal School of Life Sciences? I got a rank of 112 in MET. Also wanted to know the seat allotment for the same.

monag2673 30th Jul, 2024

Unfortunately, specific cut-off ranks for Manipal School of Life Sciences (MSLS) B.Sc. Biotechnology program aren't publicly available.  However, we can explore some resources to estimate your chances:

  • Previous Years' Data: Look for information on previous years' MET cut-off ranks for B.Sc. Biotechnology at MSLS. This might give you a rough idea of the competition level. You might find this data on educational forums or college websites with historical admissions data.
  • Contact MSLS: Reach out directly to the Manipal School of Life Sciences admissions department. They might be able to provide more specific information regarding the cut-off range for this year.

Regarding seat allotment:

  • Seat allotment at MSLS is based on your MET rank, program preference, category (if applicable), and seat availability.
  • You can expect to find details about the seat allotment process and timeline on the official Manipal University admissions website.

With a rank of 112, you have a strong chance of securing your desired program. However, due to the lack of confirmed cut-off data, it's  best to use the resources mentioned above for better clarity.

I have score 191/240 in MET for Msc clinical psychology. My interview was above average. What are my chances to get into Manipal? Also I gave my interview, how long would it take for me to hear back from them?

Abhishek 13th Aug, 2024

Hi there,

Hope you are doing fine.

Having a score of 191 in the manipal entrance test and an above average interview for admission in msc clinical psychology, you have a high chance to get the admission in it.

However, the admission to the college will depend on several factors like the previous year trends, the comparison of the score with the other candidates and the number of opening for that particular position. You can check the previous year cutoff by visiting the official website and then checking all the necessary details from there.

You can keep checking the official website to know about the announcement of the results and your selection.

Hope this resolves your query.

my rank is 15000 in met exam will i get cse in manipal bamgalore campus ??

kumardurgesh1802 2nd Sep, 2024

Hello there,

With a rank of 15,000 in the MET exam, getting a CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) seat at the Manipal Bangalore campus might be challenging, as CSE is one of the most sought-after branches and usually has a higher cutoff.

However, it's important to check the specific year's cutoff trends, as they can vary based on the number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, and seat availability. You may have a better chance in later rounds of counseling, but it’s advisable to also consider alternative branches or campuses, or wait for subsequent rounds if you're set on CSE.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

I got a rank of 393 in Manipal MET for BBA, will I get admission in Manipal main branch for BBA

kumardurgesh1802 24th Sep, 2024

Hello there,

With a rank of 393 in the Manipal MET for BBA , you have a very strong chance of securing admission at the Manipal main branch (Manipal Academy of Higher Education - MAHE) for the BBA program. The cutoff for BBA at Manipal typically goes higher than this, so your rank is well within the range for admission.

Factors in Your Favor:

  • Top Rank : A rank under 400 is quite competitive, and the main campus usually fills seats for BBA within a much higher rank range.

  • Course Demand : While BBA is popular, the intake capacity and relatively higher cutoff make your rank advantageous.

Keep track of the counseling rounds , as well as other admission formalities. You should be in a good position to secure a seat at the Manipal main campus!

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

My score in MET is 118, what will be my ranking and shall I get set in MIT Manipal for E

kumardurgesh1802 30th Oct, 2024

Hello Sagar,

With a score of 118 in the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) , your rank may vary each year based on the overall performance of other candidates. However, in previous years, a score around this range has typically resulted in a rank between 4,000 to 8,000 .

Chances for Admission to MIT Manipal for ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering):

  1. Previous Trends : The closing rank for Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at MIT Manipal has often been below 5,000 to 6,000 . This means your chances of securing a seat may be moderate but depend on this year's competition and the number of applicants.

  2. Category Considerations : If you belong to any reserved category (OBC, SC, ST), you may have better chances due to relaxed cutoff criteria.

  3. Stay Updated : Keep an eye on the official MET counseling announcements and the cutoff ranks for ECE. You may also reach out to the admissions office at MIT for the most accurate information.

    Recommendations:

  • Participate in Counseling : Make sure to participate actively in the counseling process.

  • Consider Alternatives : If your rank falls outside the typical range for ECE, consider applying for related branches or institutions where you may have a better chance.

Best of luck!
