Instead, you pick a branch in which you are interested, I assure you that you will much happy than picking a branch just by looking at the placement prospects.

In Manipal campus it would be quite difficult for you to get any of the course on such rank in MET 2022 also on such rank it is very difficult to get any of the campus with any of the branch because till last round the cut-off rank closes around 34000 and for 35k+ you might get a chance depending upon your luck..

According to the branch-wise cut-off of MET 2021, the last student who got into Computer Science and Engineering in Manipal University, Jaipur had a rank of 11099. So, it is highly probable that you can get CSE in Manipal University, Jaipur with a rank of 8310, provided the cut-offs don't change much (which they usually don't). It is difficult to get CSE in main campus of MET. But you can get the CSE branch in any other branches of MET if you wait till the last round of counselling.

yes you can get admission in IT branch with this rank but probably not in first round. They have total 7 rounds so there are chances that you can get IT branch at rank 1309 in 4-5 round.
