Considering the previous year cut off for admission to Electronics and Communication you do not have chances of getting seat in Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal. The cut off was 3908. But you have chances of getting seat in Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Sikkim and Manipal University, Jaipur. The cut off was 34923 and 23663 for admission to ECE. The cut off for admission to Information Technology in Manipal University, Jaipur was 14496 last year. Considering the cut off you have chances of getting seat in Manipal University, Jaipur. If you wish to get seat in IT in MU, Jaipur you can select this campus as you do not have chances of getting seat in ECE in Main campus. Dear candidate, sorry to say but you can’t get CSE in Manipal, main campus. For CSE, you can try Sikkim and Jaipur campus. At 8000 rank in main campus you can get: Aeronautical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Bio Medical Engineering, Bio Technology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Industrial and Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,Mechatronics, Media Technology.

Congrats for the ranking. Yes, you can get a seat in Computer Science in Main Campus, i.e., MIT Manipal. Looking at the previous year cutoff , we can say that there is not a good chance in first round of counselling. However, you may certainly get the seat in cse, MIT Manipal in further rounds since in MET 2020 cutoff in round 3 was 2560 and in 2019 MET cutoff was 1819.
