I scored 154/240 in met 2021 phase 2 and my percentile is 91...can I except cs or it branch from main campus?

Shja 5th Jul, 2021
Dear Aspirant,

CSE and IT are the branches which are always in demand, that's the reason cut offs are sky high. You need minimum 175+ marks to get CSE/IT in the main campus. Your marks won't guarantee you a seat in the main campus. In my opinion you may get IT in Jaipur campus. You should definitely keep and eye on that one.

Hope this Helps!

I have got 65.3 percentile in MET 2021. My expected rank would be??

Shja 5th Jul, 2021
Dear Aspirant,

According to me, given your marks your rank should be around 18,000 approximately. This is the expected rank, it may vary because rank depends on various factors like number of applicants, difficulty level of exam etc. So, you should decide which branch you would like to grab to avoid confusion at later stage.

Hope this Helps!

I got 118/240 in met 2021 and total 31,884 students appeared for the online test. Do I have a chance in IT department in the main campus?

Shja 5th Jul, 2021
Dear Aspirant,

Looks like your marks aren't enough to fetch you IT branch. You should not worry about the same there are many good engineering colleges you can aim for. Try giving other entrance exams and ace those exams so that you could grab your desired branch.

I attended MET 2021 pharmd (PCB) and secured 105 /240 .what would be my rank

ayanmukherjee045 3rd Jul, 2021

Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned that you have got 105 /240 in met 2021 and you want to opt for pharmd. So let me tell you that these ranks depends upon certain factors like number of candidates appearing in that examination, number of vacant seats in the college, previous years cut off, difficulty level of the paper.

So, on a general basis as per my knowledge you should be able to get your stream in these marks but your rank would vary according to above mentioned factors.

I hope this answer helped you out!!

i Scored 96 in MET 2021 what branch can i possible get in the jaipur campus?

Virat Srivastava 30th Jun, 2021

Dear candidate, cutoff rank is different as per the various factors like number of candidates appearing, difficulty level of paper, number of seats available. However, three colleges- MIT Manipal, SMIT Sikkim, MU Jaipur admit students through MET. For admission in civil, 16k in MIT and 40k and around in other two colleges is needed. You have to be under 15K to get CSE and IT in MIT and within 10K-12K for CSE in other two colleges. Mechanical and electrical can be fetched easily within 7k and around in MIT and within 24k and around in other two colleges.

Hope, it helps!

I got 118/240 in MET 2021, which branches can I get in the main campus?

Shja 30th Jun, 2021
Dear Aspirant,

Looks like you may get Biotechnology, Civil, Chemical branch. It's very tough for you to get CSE, DS, IT branch if you wish to pursue any of these because you need much lower rank to grab these. Your rank is definitely 16,000+ (approximately).
I suggest you to give other entrance exams as well if you aren't satisfied with your performance and you want a different branch.

Hope this Helps!

I scored 100 in MET 2021. Can I get a btech biotechnology seat in the main manipal campus?

Shja 30th Jun, 2021
Dear Aspirant,

According to my opinion you do have a chance of  getting an admission in Biotechnology branch in the main campus as 90-95 marks are the expected cut off marks and the rank should be below 26400 approximately. So, don't worry stay calm and you can definitely get your desired branch.
Also, I advise you to give other entrance exams as well to be safe.

Hope this Helps!
