Manipal Entrance Test
Dear leaner,
Predicting rank is pretty much harder, met 2021 cutoff seems like 118-120 marks for general category.and with 122 marks you'll get rank around 6500 to 7000 between .
The eligibility qualify marks is 110 the marks above than that will get a decent branch at manipal main campus but one should get 140 above marks to get a seat in cse at main branch .it's ok sometimes they clear the vacancy under jee mains ,jee advanced merit list students .
Here is the previous year link based on marks and rank accordingly given colleges and branches at met .
https://www.google.com/amp/s/engineering.careers360.com/articles/met-cutoff/amp .
All the best.
Students who are having minimum 120 marks are called out for counselling ,since met have 3,4 rounds you may be having a chance . surely you will get a seat in b Pharmacy ,but not sure about pharm d
As pharm-d is a doctorate degree one must score high I met probably and eligibility with 55% marks in 10+2
I understand If you miss your counselling just for 4 marks ,is way much hurting , don't worry getting admission or not, doesn't matter any more you had already completed the exam so be confidence that you will get it
Wishing you good luck.
Hello,
Manipal University is very good and reputed institution. So there get a chance is very hard. Your total marks 240 that means it's BTech entrance examination. And 130 score is average score. We all know cut-off marks will differ in every year depends on how many aspirants give the examination, how's the questions, what's is the top score etc. So you have to go for counselling and let's see which department you will get in Manipal University.
As met has separately Pharmacy entrance exam which is conducted by manipal academy .
The students who wants admission in bpharm should have been qualified in met atleast .
As you scored 111 you have 99.9 % chances to get a seat in main campus or somewhere else in met , students must have 50% of marks secured in 10+2 is must .
Dear Aspirant,
You may not get CSE branch with these marks but there's a chance that you may get IT branch in Manipal, Jaipur. Also you can get DSE( Data Science and Engineering) which is also pretty good and worth going for. You need at least 155+ marks to grab CSE which is not far. I suggest you to push yourself a little more and get your desired branch as the destination for you doesn't seem very far. It is definitely achievable.
Also if you wish to settle for any other branch and college as well it's okay as well, but one should try his/her best to get into the field he/she wishes to work in future.
Try giving other state exams like COMEDK, VITEEE, BITSAT etc. who knows you may seal the deal !

Hope this Helps!
ALL THE BEST
According to the statistics of 2021 I would predict that your rank should be around 40,000. With this rank though it is tough for you to get into CS or IT branch in any of the three MITs but on the other hand you might get one of the core branches like Civil Engineering or Aeronautical engineering.
You should definitely keep an eye on the Jaipur campus because there is a chance that you might get DSE(Data Science and Engineering) branch which is good. Other than that if you aim for a particular branch like CS/IT you can try giving other entrance exams as well.
PS: Never loose hope and stay motivated:)
Good Luck
You need secure the cut off rank in order to be able to get admission to Computer Science Engineering in Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal. In 2020 round 3 counselling a candidate with rank 866 secured admission to Computer Science Engineering in Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal. SO the cut off is expected to be in between 800-1000. With the given score your rank is expected to be above 5000 so you might not have chances of getting seat in Computer Science Engineering in Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal. But the actual rank may vary based on the highest score, lowest score, total number of candidates appeared, tie breakers etc. The cut off rank also changes every year based on total total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.
You can find the cut off for MET using the link below

there is a high chance of getting cse at manipal with a score of 185. But maybe not in the first round
Greetings dear aspirant
Firstly, congrats on successful completion of your MET exam. The cut-off trends keeps changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. With 100/240, its not possible to get CSE or IT branch in their main campus, i.e. Manipal as there is a huge competition for these seats. The cut-off of CSE branch at Manipal campus was 781 in the year 2020. So, you can try for branches like CSE, IT, ECE, etc in their Jaipur and Sikkim campuses. Just apply to their counselling process and as it is conducted in different rounds, your chances of securing a seat increases.
You can have a look at the cut-off trends from the above link.
Hope I've cleared all your doubts!!
All the best for your counselling process
