questions pattern is as follows:

Physics - 10 MCQs & 5 NAT

Chemistry - 10 MCQs & 5 NAT

Mathematics - 15 MCQs & 5 NAT

English - 10 MCQs only

You can get your parents sign the declaration form before you reach the center or at the center whichever is feasible or comfortable for you. There is no compulsion that you will have to get your parent's signature only the exam center. Along with the declaration, you will have to carry your admit card and a photo ID proof along with you. Also, try to reach the exam center an hour before the examination time.

see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category, choice of stream and so on. however at per last year closing rank, biotechnology closing rank for manipal campus was 33875. compare to other stream of engineering, biotechnology cutoff rank goes higher. so you might have moderate chances for biotechnology.

I would suggest you also apply for others colleges or entrance test as well. It is always best to apply for multiple colleges.
