Savitri bai phule university,pune offers the one year LLM course. Admission to this course is taken on the basis of merit in entrance exam and qualifying degree.

Application date for filling the online application form by sppu has not been declared yet. Usually they start taking aapplication form for entrance test in the month of may and entrance exam is conducted in the month of june. Last year the entrance exam application process was started on 1st may 2019. So in this year also you can expect the application process to start from first week of may. As you know due to the lockdown situation everything is postponed. Lot of entrance exams, board exams still haven't been conducted yet. I completely understand your concern. But you should be patient. As there is improvement in the current situation you will get time table for admission procedure and all those things that is required.

Savitri bai phule university, pune does not conduct entrance exam for the admission to B.C.A course. The minimum eligibility is to pass 10+2 with minimum 50% of marks through a recognized board. Mostly the admission are given on the basis of merit in qualifying examination. For admission to B.C.A course you should visit the respective affiliated colleges of pune university and according to the college procedure and eligibility apply for the course.

i am giving details about pune university's application form for post graduate courses , so the commencement of filling online application from for all post graduate and under graduate course is 1st week of may 2020 and last date to submit the or filling the same is last week of may 2020.

also i would like to mention this is not a committed date and it may vary as there is a complete lock down and we are facing with the pandemic situation of covid 19

Yes, Pune University provides accomodation for both boys and girls. Seats are few in hostel so rooms are alloted on merit basis. 2 and 3 sharing rooms are available and you have the choice of choosing your room partner.

Hostel fees is around 2.5-3.4k per year.

There is no mess in the hostel. You have to buy food either from canteen or take a tiffin service which costs around 30-40 rupees per meal.

Pune University entrance exam is extremely simple if you are clear on your basics.

If there are just 15–30 days for your exam, it's time to work smart. So instead of giving you the entire syllabus (which is available on the website), I will just list out the topics that will make an appearance in the exam for sure.

Focus specifically on the following topics-

1. Energy cycles- the steps, enzymes, total output of energy.
2. Oxidative phosphorylation in detail
3. Lipid cycle
4. Photosynthesis, C4, CAM pathway is very important!

1. Enzyme kinetics- vmax, km (Trevor Palmer is the best for enzymology)
2. Central dogma of molecular biology (study the the enzyme and the role it plays in each step)
3. DNA repair, recombination- very important
4. Gene mapping, mendelian genetics, non-mendalian genetics - focus on blood group problems and inheritance patterns

Igenetics by Russell, Peter explains these in an easy way. Solve the problems at the back of each chapter.

1. Immunology - MHC, antibody structure, complement pathway, vaccines, auto-immune disorders

1. Medical Microbiology- bacteria and their morphology, culture techniques, media they grow in, diseases they cause, mechanism, prevention and treatment. Study only the important bacteria like Mycobacterium sp., Vibrio, streptomyces, staphylococcus, Anthrax. In viruses, study HIV, life cycle of T4 phage.

Ananthnarayan - any edition

1. Antibiotics mechanism and their mode of resistance. I cannot stress on how important this particular topic is.

1. Go through your notes on citric acid, penicillin and beer-wine production
2. Learn a few formulas for fermentation.

Cover these topics and you shall pass the exam with flying colors. Make sure you are calm and focused while writing the exam, as a chaotic mind can make a lot of careless mistakes.
