What is the last year TISSNET cutoff for HR&LR for NCLOBC?

There is no sectional cut offs in TISSNET and the overall cutoff is expected to be something around 77-80 for general category and 73-75 above for OBC category for the course MA in HR and LR course.

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai conduct TISSNET which is the main campus. TISSNET 2017 scores are accepted only by TISS Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad, Guwahati & other campus.

TISS HRM offers the cheapest degree in management after FMS, JBIMS and few other reputated colleges. All top notch companies comes in campus placement and gives average salary of 15lpa to 17 lpa with good designation also. You can also work with UNDP, WHO,UNEP, UNESCO, UNICEF and they all continuously visiting tiss as a recruiter. So after completing your degree from TISS in HRM you can work with both government as well private sector with additional advantage. Also you can join NGO as well as become an Entrepreneur!

The average package is approx 12-16 lakhs and maximum reaching 28 lakhs per year.

It is one of the top college. Take admission if you get it.

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai conduct TISSNET which is the main campus. TISSNET 2017 scores are accepted only by TISS Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad, Guwahati & other campus.

The Eligibility Criteria

  • You should have three years Bachelor's degree or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 or mandatory 15 years formal education) from a recognised university are eligible to apply.

  • At the time of applying TISSNET 2017, candidates studying in three years degree programme should have passed in all the subjects for the first to fourth semesters and studying in 4 years degree progrmmes should have passed in all the subjects for first to sixth semester.

  • Final year candidates are also eligible to apply for the test but they must complete their under graduation on or before.

The Exam Pattern:

TISSNET 2017 was a computer based test to be conducted in 39 centres across India. The computer based test was of objective type which will have questions related to General Knowledge, Analytical Ability, Logical Reasoning, and English Proficiency. The test was of 1 hour 40 minutes duration.

 

There is no negative marking in the test. TISSNET 2017 have 40 marks for General Awareness, 30 marks for English Proficiency, and 30 marks for Maths and Logical Reasoning. There was 100 questions carrying 100 marks to be attempted within 1 hour 40 minutes duration.

Fundamental Mathematics of Class 6th to 8th are enough to crack TISS practice speed maths as TISS relies highly on speed and it has no negative marking too, so prepare hard and practice harder too.

The cut off varies from course to course and from campus to campus also,the highest cut off range around 75 marks for M.A in Human Resources in mumbai campus and forms are usually out by september.

10th - 6.2cgpa. 12th-70%. Bba from IITM IP UNIVERSITY expected 65%. will appear all mba exams(cat,xat,mat,cmat,nmat,snap,iift,tissnet) .

Hi, Your academics has average scores and that good as per IIM selection criteria because they prefer students with meritious academic background. Also you wl have to clear various MBA entrances and make sure you have percentile above 98/99 and perform extremely well in interview rounds.
Also its not all IIM's that consider academic scores but then other aspects should be performed extremely well.
