The Eligibility Criteria
You should have three years Bachelor's degree or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 or mandatory 15 years formal education) from a recognised university are eligible to apply.
At the time of applying TISSNET 2017, candidates studying in three years degree programme should have passed in all the subjects for the first to fourth semesters and studying in 4 years degree progrmmes should have passed in all the subjects for first to sixth semester.
Final year candidates are also eligible to apply for the test but they must complete their under graduation on or before.
The Exam Pattern:
TISSNET 2017 was a computer based test to be conducted in 39 centres across India. The computer based test was of objective type which will have questions related to General Knowledge, Analytical Ability, Logical Reasoning, and English Proficiency. The test was of 1 hour 40 minutes duration.
There is no negative marking in the test. TISSNET 2017 have 40 marks for General Awareness, 30 marks for English Proficiency, and 30 marks for Maths and Logical Reasoning. There was 100 questions carrying 100 marks to be attempted within 1 hour 40 minutes duration.
