The exam is conducted offline and the question paper consist of two parts: Part A carries 25 marks and Part B carries 75 marks.

Aspirants of UOH Entrance Examination seeking admission into MA Social Science need to secure at least 50% marks in the Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks in Sociology as an optional subject or at least  50% marks in the Bachelor's degree with at least 55% marks in Social Science as a compulsory subject. University of Hyderabad Entrance Exam is for admission into M.A, M.Sc or Integrated M.a/M.Sc programs.

Entrance Test Consist of Objective Type Questions only. Which means there will be multiple choice, true false or matching.

It does not ask for short answer questions. It is a 2 hour offline exam. There is negative marking.
