Regarding jee preparation 2020
Yes its completely possible if you prepare without losing hopes and with zeal. My friend was facing the same issue last year. But this year he made it to IIT Madras with good branch. So, prepare in whatever time you have got with you. And believe me, its not impossible. Class 12th revision won't take a lot of time. Make proper time table according to your strength or weakness in particular subject/topic.
Is Allen or akash good in Bhubaneswar for jee preparation?

Hello Yash,
I have given NDA 3 times and have cleared all of them, so the things you must start doing from now onwards are,
- READ NEWSPAPER DAILY
- READ GOOD GK BOOKS
- FOCUS ON MATHS BASICS
- VERY BASIC LEVEL OF PHYSICS AND CHEMISTRY
- IF POSSIBLE READ BIOLOGY ALSO, BUT IF TIME PERMITS BECAUSE WITHOUT ATTEMPTING BIO QUESTIONS ALSO YOU CAN CKEAR THE PAPER.
- GOOD GRIP OVER CALCULATION AND MATHS.
Follow this routine.
The NDA-II notification will be announced in the month of August.
So prepare well
I hope you will find my answer helpful.
All the best.
How to crack GATE exam? I am still in btech 1st year.
Hi aspirant,
Since you're in your first year, the first thing you can do is be aware of GATE syllabus. If you have not downloaded it yet, it must be the first thing you should do. Usually, your first-year college syllabus is not of much weightage in GATE. You should practice Maths a lot. You must plan your study after taking the analysis of previous years’ GATE papers. This will give you the idea that which subject usually has the highest weightage in GATE exam and about the topics asked from the particular subject most.
Now, in your second year and third year, you should learn each concept and make sure you know the fundamentals of each topic. In the meantime keep solving previous year's question paper.
In 4th year, join a GATE coaching if possible, if not then buy a test series from a reputed institute. This would help you in analyzing your performance.
All the best
I am studying btech 3yr cse branch i have lot of confusion to go with private jobs or govt jobs?
Common Admission Test (commonly known as CAT) is an entrance test for admissions to premier B-schools in India. It is conducted by IIMs.
The exam is divided into three major sections:
Quantitative Aptitude
Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
Verbal Ability
Some of the colleges which accept CAT scores (expect the 19 IIMs) are
MDI, Gurgaon
FMS, Delhi
SP Jain, Mumbai
IMT, Ghaziabad
SJMSOM, Mumbai
This is a mandatory first step if you wish to seek admissions in any if the IIMs and/or above mentioned B-school.
There are great opportunities after successful completion of GATE exam.
You can join for M.Tech course in NITs with a minimum of 55 marks ,IITs with not less than 60 marks and even IIM with 65+ marks in GATE.
If u have 75+ marks, u can apply for PSUs . Some PSUs provide a good package of 12 LPA and more…..From 2018 ,SAIL and many others are also considering Gate score for recruitment.
You can go for higher studies in Germany. Some of the universities there provide scholarships through valid gate score.
Even with just a qualifying mark , you can apply for some central govt. jobs like RRB bcz they give priority to those who qualified in gate.
If you are a lower level employee, chose government sector.
Better salaries and little work.
Teachers, clerks, drivers, enjoy a far better life than their private sector counterparts.
Imagine being a teacher in a government school. You start at 40,000 per month and retire at 1.2 lakh per month. Take 4 classes every day and enjoy numerous paid holidays. And in the private sector?
Private sector will exploit you. Its an overpopulated country and you are merely replaceable. So don't expect special treatment. Expect poor salary and long working hours.
At medium levels, government sector is only slightly better. Pay is comparable, work life balance better. Job security 100%. But there are restrictions.
In private sector, you are free to choose between sectors, work profiles and locations. But no job security.
So the choice is between security and freedom.
At higher level, I assume, You must have joined some prestigious jumping pads like IITs, IIMs and are now looking to jump directly to the 5th floor.
Congratulations! Because you have a choice. Understand the word choice here.
A choice is never between a good apple and a bad apple. You are bound to chose a good apple so where is the choice? It's when you have to chose between an apple and an orange. So chose wisely.
If you are looking for money and a fancy life style, join private sector. As you are a rare talent, job security is not a concern.
But don't ask philosophical questions about meaning of work and contribution to the society. You are here to make money for the company. Do it and go home. Enjoy the materialism.
If you are looking for power, recognition and a meaningful work, join government sector. But dont ask for a good salary. Look! we are a socialist country? We cannot pay more than a limit. We expect you to sacrifice. Enjoy the spiritual part of it.
Can you chose to be corrupt and enjoy money here too? No no! If you want an apple, don't chose an orange. Go for the private sector.
Or, there will be indigestion. And every dam thing you have eaten will come out. You will always live in fear of when and how it hapenns.
What I am telling here, you can easily verify it. Ask any lower class person. He would die for a government job. Ask a middle class person, he would show slight preference towards government jobs.
Ask an upper class person, and 2 divergent view points would emerge. Depending on if he like money or recognition.

Does it affect my GATE CS preparation if i take CSE instead of IT?
Hey Jayant,
How did you think about your preparation getting affected by taking computer science engineering instead of Information Technology branch in engineering? It is not going to affect anything, more of like it would be a brilliant help to you instead. So if you want to go for CSE then go with all the might to prepare...
Hope it helped..
