SRM has very good placement track record since with respective to chemical engineering its quite low and risky to get the placements in your domain but you'll get in this domain few MNC with packages of 5LPA ,3.5LPA  but SRM university Chennai Will definitely get for IT , if they fail to place you in your domain but they will make sure you get place in IT

With 52 Percentile in MAT, it seems difficult to get a call from IPE . As around 70+ is cutoff expected for IPE Through MAT.

If you want to take a chance , you can fill it as they will call for GD PI but chances of selection depends on number of candidates filled, just like welingkar does.
