Sir I am qualified gate in 2024 in ECE and gate score 226.sir could you please tell me is the any chance to get admission in any iit.in sc category
Hello,
Based on your GATE 2024 score of 226 in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) under the SC category, securing admission to IITs may be challenging due to the following considerations:
-
Qualifying Marks : The GATE 2024 qualifying cutoff for ECE in the SC category was 16.6 marks.
-
Admission Cutoffs : Admission cutoffs for IITs are typically higher than the qualifying marks and vary across institutes and specializations. For instance, in previous years, the cutoff scores for SC candidates in ECE-related M.Tech programs at IITs ranged significantly higher than your score.
-
Competition and Seat Availability : Admission to IITs is highly competitive, and candidates with higher GATE scores are generally preferred.
Recommendations :
-
Explore Other Institutes : Consider applying to National Institutes of Technology (NITs) or other reputable engineering colleges where the cutoff scores may align more closely with your GATE score.
-
Review Specific Cutoffs : Research the previous years' cutoffs for the specific institutes and programs you're interested in to assess your chances accurately.
-
Enhance Qualifications : If feasible, consider improving your GATE score in future attempts to increase the likelihood of admission to your desired institute.
While admission to IITs with a GATE score of 226 in the SC category is unlikely, exploring alternative institutes and programs can provide valuable opportunities for your academic and professional growth.
Hope it helps !

Hi..my cat score is 64... i have 8 years experience as an architect my tenth , twelth marks are 88% and 78% respectively and cgpa of 6.7 from NIT . what are my chances to get into a reputed college... and can you suggest me possible options
A score of 64 marks in CAT would likely fall around the 85th percentile depending on the difficulty of the exam and the overall performance of candidates in this year.
So,it is highly unlikely that you will receive a call from any of the IIMs as the required percentile for an IIM call is typically much higher, usually ranging from 90% and above, especially for top IIMs like Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Calcutta.
If you are looking for MBA programs, consider exploring other B-schools that may have lower cut-offs for admission.
Here are some B-schools that may have lower cutoffs for admission:
SOIL Institute of Management: Has a CAT cut-off of 75 percentile
T. A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal: Has an expected CAT cut-off of 85+
Great Lakes Institute of Management (GLIM): Has an expected CAT cut-off of 85+
MICA: Has an expected CAT cut-off of 85+
S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai: Has a CAT cut-off of 85 percentile
Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM), Mumbai: Has a CAT cut-off of 97.5 percentile
Others are IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee, JBIMS, XIMB, and GIM.
Now coming to your academic background which often calculated as a weighted average based on the importance of each component different b school has different criteria for it.

what is the process of taking admission in this college after class 12th does neet required have and if required then how much total marks we have to score for admission in this college and there is any scholarship exam or not is it private or government college and how to take admission detai
Hello Anjali,
The admission process depends on the college and course. For medical-related programs like MBBS or BPT, NEET is required. Government colleges need high NEET scores (e.g., 550+ for general category), while private colleges may accept lower scores but have higher fees. Scholarships are available based on merit, category, or special exams.
Steps:
- Register on the college’s official site.
- Submit required documents (12th marksheet, NEET scorecard, etc.).
- Attend counseling if applicable and pay fees.
For specific details, provide the college name.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.
i got 1162 score in clat 2024 results will i get admission in any college?
Hello,
Given the CLAT 2024 score of 1162, it would be pretty tough to forecast the admission chances accurately. Cut-offs change every year based on factors like numbers of applicants, difficulty levels of exams, and how many seats are available for each college participating in this examination.
Still, below is a rough idea based on past trends:
- Top NLUs (National Law Universities) like NLSIU Bangalore, NALSAR Hyderabad, and NLU Delhi typically have much higher cut-offs, often well above 1000 ranks for admission to their undergraduate law programs. It is unlikely that your score would secure a seat in these colleges.
- Other NLUs: Your score might still give you a chance at some of the lower-ranked NLUs or other law colleges that accept CLAT scores. Colleges like MNLU Mumbai, MNLU Nagpur, and GNLU Gandhinagar could have cut-offs that may be within range depending on the year's trends.
I would advise checking out the individual cut-off lists and try out college predictor after the counselling process and going through the counselling rounds to explore what is available.
Can you please inform me for BA LL b course in Delhu university for CLAT score 41.5 with 36000 rank? Single female daughter Father : Exservicemen General category
Delhi University (DU) has a reservation for the children and widows of armed forces personnel, known as the CW quota.
There is nothing much mention in the DU information Bulletin about the procedure/selection under CW category. There is no separate cut off for this category so one can not get to know whether he/she is eligible for the first cut or second cut off and so we don't have cutoff for this category under b.a llb course delhi University.
However,The last year cut-offs for the 2023 DU LLB entrance exam are as follows:
General: 85–90 percentile, or 255–270 marks out of 300
OBC: 70–80 percentile, or 210–240 marks out of 300
SC/ST: 60–70 percentile, or 180–210 marks out of 300
EWS: 75–85 percentile, or 225–255 marks out of 300
Your marks are far away from last years cutoff so it is most likely you are not getting admission through general category but if you want to get admission through cw quota then delhi University give forms for that candidates who are eligible for these seats you need to fill this form in the college with documents of proof that you belong to this quota after submitting the form they will call you if you are in merit list.basically there is a separate counselling process for this quota.
Hope you get your answer!!!
