How to check NMAT percentile with scaled score
Hello,
To find your NMAT percentile using the scaled score, you should know that NMAT percentiles are only released after the testing window closes, based on how you and all other test-takers performed relative to each other. Scaled scores for each of the three sections—Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning—are between 12–120, and the overall is between 36–360.
Percentiles show how your score compares with others, showing the percentage of candidates that you outperformed. GMAC calculates and publishes these percentiles with final results.
To check your percentile:
- After the declaration of results, log in to your NMAT account on the official portal.
- Percentiles do not directly come from the scaled scores but rely instead on overall test performance; therefore, trends from previous years or percentile predictors may serve as a rough guide.
For accurate information, visit the NMAT portal or official documentation for further information.

What are the chances for me to get good college if I score 75 in clat exam?. I am in women category of general.
According to the previous year trend, for general category about 95+ score is considered a good score to secure a seat in top NLUs and 80-90 is also a safe score, but you will get admission to lower rank NLUs. The cut off for exam further decrease for other categories. To know more about safe score in CLAT,visit Good score in CLAT 2025
Mere clat2025me genral ka score 85 h mujhe kon sa nlu mill sakta h
Hello,
CLAT scores and NLUs rank cut-offs may differ every year as this varies with the number of applications, level of competition, and reservation policy-wise cuts.
With a general category score of 85 in CLAT 2025, you may find it difficult to get into the top NLUs like NLSIU Bangalore, NALSAR Hyderabad, or NLUD Delhi. But you could have chances in newer NLUs or NLUs with higher cut-offs. Here are some options to consider:
Possible NLUs for a Score of 85:
- NLU Assam
- MNLU Aurangabad or Nagpur
- DSNLU Vizag
- HPNLU Shimla
To get an accurate picture, use a CLAT rank predictor or college predictor tool available to get your admission possibilities analyzed by using these tools based upon previous trends.
I belong to obs ncl and women category and I got 41 score in clat can I get any nlu
Hello aspirant,
The good score in CLAT is generally around 90 marks. If you want to secure your admissions in National Law University, you should have got around 90 marks. With a score of 41, it is very difficult to get admission in NLU.
Thank you

Is mba in abroad worth it or mba in india is better ? With bad academic and zero work experience,on the basis of cat or gmat score what are the chances of securing a top mba college ?
That’s a great question and shows you’re thinking carefully about your future. It's important to consider both options carefully, especially with your background. When considering whether to pursue an MBA abroad or in India, especially with poor academics and no work experience, the decision requires careful evaluation of your goals, financial situation, and career aspirations.
When comparing an MBA in India versus one abroad, there's no definitive winner—it ultimately depends on a student’s aspirations and willingness to invest financially for potentially greater returns. Each option offers its own distinct benefits, which can be better understood through a detailed discussion. Both options have their merits and challenges. Let’s break it down to help you make an informed decision.
What Is the Purpose of an MBA?
An MBA (Master of Business Administration) equips students with:
-
Leadership and management skills: To lead teams and organizations effectively.
-
Strategic thinking abilities : To solve complex business problems.
-
Career advancement opportunities : To secure roles in management, consulting, or entrepreneurship.
-
Networking: To build connections with industry professionals and peers.
The value of an MBA depends heavily on the program's quality, your goals, and the level of effort you put into leveraging its benefits.
MBA Abroad vs. MBA in India: A Comparison
MBA Abroad
Pros:
-
Global Exposure: Study in a multicultural environment and gain insights into international markets.
-
Top-Quality Education: Renowned universities provide cutting-edge curriculum and resources.
-
Networking Opportunities: Build a global professional network.
-
Higher Earning Potential: Graduates from top programs often secure higher salaries, particularly in developed economies.
-
Prestige: Degrees from institutions like Harvard, INSEAD, or Wharton carry global recognition and respect.
Cons:
-
High Cost: Tuition fees and living expenses are substantial. Scholarships are competitive.
-
Work Visa Challenges: Securing post-MBA work permits can be difficult in some countries.
-
Work Experience Requirement: Most top MBA programs abroad require 2-5 years of professional experience.
-
Risk: Without a strong profile, you may not gain admission to top schools, reducing the ROI (return on investment).
Who Is It For?
- Candidates with strong financial resources.
-
Those aiming for international roles or exposure to global markets.
-
Students with a clear plan for their post-MBA career .
MBA in India
Pros:
-
Cost-Effective: Tuition fees and living costs are significantly lower than in most foreign programs.
-
Reputed Institutions: Top Indian MBA programs (e.g., IIMs, ISB, XLRI) are highly regarded, especially for roles in Indian and Asian markets.
-
Local Relevance: Focus on Indian business contexts and networks.
-
Shorter Duration: Many MBA programs in India are completed in 1-2 years.
-
Flexible Entry: Some private universities and tier-2 colleges accept candidates with weaker academics or no work experience.
Cons:
-
Less Global Exposure: International experience and networks may be limited.
-
High Competition: Admission to top-tier institutes like IIMs is extremely competitive and requires strong CAT/GMAT scores.
-
Brand Value: While prestigious in India, Indian MBA degrees may lack global recognition compared to programs abroad.
Who Is It For?
-
Candidates targeting the Indian job market or local companies.
-
Students looking for a cost-effective education with high-quality outcomes.
-
Fresh graduates or those who prefer programs without stringent entry requirements.
Since you mentioned having poor academics and no work experience, both options have specific challenges:
MBA Abroad Challenges :
-
Admission Requirements: Most top-tier schools abroad require a strong academic record and work experience. Without these, securing admission to a reputed institution can be difficult.
-
Cost and ROI: The financial investment is high. Without admission to a top program or a clear plan for career advancement, it may not provide a good return.
MBA in India Challenges
-
Limited Opportunities in Top Programs: Schools like IIMs and ISB value academic consistency and work experience.
-
Lower Exposure: Compared to studying abroad, Indian MBAs may not offer the same level of global exposure.
Conclusion: Based on your current situation, a good approach may be to gain some work experience, improve your academic profile, and then decide whether to pursue an MBA in India or abroad.
Focus on Skills: Irrespective of the choice, focus on acquiring key skills such as leadership, communication, and analytical thinking, which are crucial for a successful career in business.
An MBA is a significant investment in your future, and careful consideration of these factors will help you make an informed decision.

Hello sir/bhiya . I have scored 78% in 10th (DAV public school) instead of 12th I did 3 year polytechnic/Diploma in electrical engineering and got an aggregate of 77.81% . Currently Im pursuing btech in electrical engineering from a tier 3 college (dav engineering clg ) .Im in 5th sem . Currently I dont have any work experience. What are my chances of getting a top iim in India or a top mba college abroad (germany,Italy) . What should I do to boost my resume/profile Since I didnt do 12th ,I did polytechnic. Will the polytechnic aggregate score be counted as 12th score. Should I even prepare for cat or gmat
Most people pursue an MBA after a BTECH degree gaining a significant increase in their salary too. Your existing B.Tech degree will significantly enhance your profile and make you eligible for a wider range of MBA programs.Gain experience in a relevant work, preferably in a field of engineering or management, and boost your profile as much as you can.
CAT/GMA are must for the top MBA programs, but they are quite challenging. So, focus on preparation in quantitative aptitude, verbal ability, and logical reasoning. You can give other entrance exams for MBA like XAT, CMAT.A few certifications like PMP, Six Sigma, or software tool-specific certifications makes your profile more valuable .Projects, internships, or extracurricular activities demonstrate your skills and interests. You can Consider Tier-2 and Tier-3 B-Schools.You can get into the international colleges too if you want but you have to study hard.
A path to a top-tier MBA is not easy, but with focused preparation, strategic planning, and a strong performance in entrance exams, well it is definitely possible.

Can I score 97 percentile in JEE Main in 1.5 months with a little bit of previous knowledge
It can be possible to achieve this much but you need to dedicate 14-15 hours a day for the exam. You need to make a proper strategic study plan with lots of revisions and mock test to get the score.
I am assuming, you have finished the syllabus once ,then there are chances for you to score. As you have finished the syllabus, then go for mock test and sample papers and analyse ,the subjects and topics, you are able to solve and you are not able to solve. Then accordingly prepare for the weak points. Try to solve more and more mock test and previous year, that will sharpen your time, you will get good ideas of scoring marks.
