An annual national and international tournament that encourages student proficiency in history, geography, and civics is called the International Social Studies Olympiad (ISSO). The CBSE/ICSE and state boards have established the ISSO Olympiad syllabus. There are two institutions that conduct the ISSO examinations that are the ISSO SilverZone Olympiad and SOF ISSO. Through these examinations, the kids learn how to make better decisions, think more critically and creatively, and have their academic ability evaluated.
Officials from the school must fill up an application form that is sent to the student. Candidates must pay the application fee in order to finish the registration process. Officials post the answer key on the official website following the exam.
The International Social Studies Olympiad's main objective is to evaluate students' levels of historical, geographic, and civic knowledge. SilverZone administers the ISSO as a single-level test for classes 1 through 10 and to take the(Science Olympiad Foundation) SOF ISSO, students must be in grades 3 to 10. After taking the test, students can assess their academic progress at five different levels: within the school, at the city level, at the zonal level, at the region level, and, most crucially, at the international level. Each student receives a Student Performance Report (SPR).
The dates for the International Social Studies Olympiad exam have been officially announced by SilverZone and SOF.
