What is the full form of ITI?

The full form of ITI is Industrial Training Institute. It is also referred to as ITIs. Both engineering and non-engineering technical subjects are included in the training. It is a post-secondary institution in India that was established by the Ministry of Labour & Employment Union Government of India's Directorate General of Employment of Training (DGET). It offers instruction in a variety of crafts, including carpentry, plumbing, welding, fitter, electrical, mechanical, computer hardware, refrigeration, and air conditioning. These institutions were created especially to educate students who have recently completed the 10th grade and choose to pursue technical education over higher education.

The purpose of founding ITIs was to supply the rapidly expanding industrial sector with technical labor. The ITI courses are intended to provide the skills necessary for a trade. Duration of ITI Course

The candidate would be admitted to ITI institutes if they pass this entrance exam. Candidates are allowed immediately into several private ITI E institutes without taking a written exam.

ITI course costs are lower than engineering course costs in certain states. For ITI engineering trades, the fees typically vary from Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 9,000. The cost for ITI Non-Engineering Trades ranges from Rs. 3,950 to Rs. 7,000. Government and private ITIs charge different ITI trade fees. Students must pay an extra charge for hostel housing if they want to use it. For students who fall into certain criteria, some states provide full or partial fee concessions. The entire course price may be paid in two payments by students.
