The Kerala Administrative Service is known as KAS. This test is state-level in nature. To hire graduates for second-class gazetted positions in the Kerala Government Service, such as deputy collector, deputy director of national savings, special industries officer, etc., an exam is given in the state of Kerala. The hiring procedure for Kerala Administrative Services (KAS) consists of three steps. KAS - Kashmir Administrative Service

Kashmir Administrative Service is the operational civil service of Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian union territory. The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission recruits officers for this position through an exam known as the KAS examination. “Bachelor's Degree in any Discipline” is the eligibility criteria of this examination. The statewide joint competitive examination is held to fill several state civil service cadres. On the pattern of the Union Public Service Commission, the percentage of points removed in decimal numbers for each erroneous response is deducted when taking the number of questions for the KAS post. The examination is divided into three phases: preliminary candidate selection (450 marks), consisting of objective-type papers that determine candidates' eligibility to take the main examination; and main examination is the second and most important part consists of nine essay-style question papers that require candidates to provide descriptive answers (300 marks for general english test, 150 marks for english assay, 300 marks each for two general studies papers and 250 marks each for two optional subjects). Phase III comprises of a viva test pattern (250 marks), which requires applicants to challenge the oral exam, with the goal of judging a candidate's mental quality for numerous subjects.After serving as a KAS officer for a set amount of time, the selected candidates (KAS officers) are promoted to IAS officer levels such as District Collector. The Government of Jammu and Kashmir is in charge of the promotion process and decisions.
