How to become assistant director??
Hi Gowtham,
There is no one specific way to becoming an assistant director in the industry. For an entry, you can start from the below-mentioned way -
If you are a student in any media college - many internship opportunities will come your way from the college program itself in forms of competitions that will result in internships or through your course coordinators and professors who are very well connected to the industry. Otherwise, if you have guest lecturers who work in the industry, it always helps to get in touch with them for internships and recommendations. Once you get an introduction then it's up to you to climb up the ladder with your performance.
Good Luck!
What to study to become an Ad Director?
Hi
Well becoming an Advertising Director is a long way. You need to work hard and passionately, and you will get there. First thing is to complete a course in Advertising, do an internship to understand the working of this industry, start your career as an advertising assistant and go your way up.
A degree in advertising will teach advertising concepts and their applicability in real-time situations. Including study in all the key areas of Advertising be it agency management and structure, copy-writing and visualization among others.
Some of the courses in advertising are,
Institute | Programme |
Apeejay Institute of Mass Comm
| Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising & Marketing Communication |
PG Diploma in Advertising and PR
XIC, Mumbai | PG Diploma in Advertising & Marketing Communication |
PG Diploma in Advertising & Sales Managament
YMCA | PG Diploma in Advertising and Marketing |
Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication | PG Diploma in Advertising and PR
|
Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts & Communication | Postgraduate Diploma in Advertising and Public Relations |
All the best
BBa or B.com. I Love marketing a lot and Advertisement and branding love. Should I choose any other course.
If you want to pursue your career in marketing field then you can go for MBA in marketing. B.Com/BBA both are the good options, the only difference is B.Com is your degree program whereas BBA comes under professional courses and after doing anyone of them you can go for MBA. And according to me better to go for BBA then MBA but also consider your interest and potential before choosing the same.
Decide wisely.
Good Luck!!!
