There are 1021 seats in total in agriculture in ICAR-AIEEA (Indian Council of Agricultural Research - All India Entrance Exam for Admission) and 7.5 % of the seats are reserved for the ST category. Which means nearly 75 seats are reserved for the ST category.
It was in 1942 ,when the first program of Agricultural Engineering was introduced in India.

A single admission test for engineering, agriculture, and medicine is referred to as the EAMCET exam.
If you pass the EAMCET test, you will be able to obtain a seat anywhere in Andhra Pradesh.
In order to accept students into a variety of agricultural and medical programmes, the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana run the AP EAMCET and TS EAMCET, respectively.
The entrance exam is for students who want to pursue agricultural studies at the undergraduate level at Karnataka's colleges and universities.

Candidates for B. Tech in Agricultural Engineering or B.E in Agricultural Engineering must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent level examination from a recognised education board in India before enrolling in the programme.
Students who want to apply for this programme must have been in the Science (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) stream throughout their upper secondary schooling experience.
Students who have completed their 10+2 studies in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are also eligible to apply.
