can I apply for DTU after diploma in mechanical engineering from dseu which is not aicte approved?
HI,
NO, you can't.
Candidates must meet the eligibility conditions for DTU LEET before applying for the exam.
- Students must have a diploma (any branch of engineering) from an AICTE-recognised University.
- The minimum aggregate marks in the qualifying exam must be 60% or equivalent CGPA. Reserve category (SC/ ST) candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% or 55% (for different courses) in the qualifying exam.
- Those who are in the final year of the qualifying exam are also eligible for applying for the exam.
Age Limit
- Minimum - 18 years
- Maximum - 26 years
Delhi Technological University Lateral Entry Entrance Test (DTU LEET) 2022 offers admission directly to the second year of the engineering degree courses. For candidates who have a Diploma or B.Sc in Engineering UG courses, this exam is the best way for taking admission into engineering courses. After passing the DTU LEET , students get admission into the third semester of the four-year B.Tech. program under the University’s lateral entry scheme.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
helloo... Im biology student...i dont have maths in my 12th...how can i do btech cse....can i give comedk exam.... according to new rule of AICTE Im eligible right?????
Hello Aspirant,
I hope you are doing well.
According to the AICTE, you can study BTech without having to take Mathematics and 14 other obligatory topics. However, these new rules are not yet in effect and will be with the NEP 2020.
As a result, you will need Mathematics to pursue CSE at this time. Now, if you didn't get mathematics in 10+2, you can get it via an open schooling programme like NIOS, which will qualify you for the course.
