i have completed my graduation in BA can i appear for AILET exam for llb admission
See through the AILET only Integrated LLB courses are provided. Now as there are no age limit for the examination and as you have passed 10+2 so you can apply for it. But you will have to get into a course of BA LLB which isn't relevant because you have already completed your BA. I would recommend you that CLAT will be a better option for you than AILET. Now you have to decide what you want to do.

Hello I am a student of class 12th and will be appearing for AILET and CLAT in 2022 , i would like to know about NLU, its branches, fees structure, admission process and cut off too. Thank you
Dear student,
National law University is one of the top law University in the nation. There are 23 national law universities in India as of now.
- The top NLU is the one in Bangalore as per the NIRF ranking of the previous two years, the seats range from 110 to 120 students specifically for Undergraduate Students.
- Then comes the university in Hyderabad with 100 seats.
- Then comes the one from Kolkata.
- The NLU of Gujarat , NLU jodhpur.
- Following NLU , Bangalore is NLU Delhi and has around 80 to 90 seats for the undergraduate students.
The cut off for unreserved categories range between 72 to 78 , the cut off in AILET for BA LLB was 75 in 2020 . Hence you should target a higher score since sometimes the cut off goes up till 82.75 as well.
is it that an aspirant can give AILET exam after taking science for 11th and 12th or commerce students can also give the AILET without any hurdle?
Hi aspirant,
The basic educational eligibility criteria for the AILET exam includes:
-
Candidates must have passed Class 12 (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized board or institution with at least 45% marks. Candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories must secure at least 40% marks in the qualifying examination
-
Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to appear in AILET 2022. However, such candidates will become eligible for admission to BA LLB programmes only if they have passed the qualifying examination with the minimum qualifying marks.
So there is no barrier over the streams over eligibility however it is true that students from humanities background are benefited.
Hope it helps!!
as a college student, how many hours of study should i dedicate to ailet and what are the subjects that are very important that requires day to day revision and attention, given i have only 5 months to prepare for the exam? please someone guide me through this hurdle.
Hi Vishal,
As a college student I think it's very difficult to manage between both the things but still it is achievable, you just need to give time and balance it rightly. Ailet as a whole requires a lot of hard work and dedication, the paper comes very lengthy and questions are complex too.
As per the pattern of Ailet you will have 50 questions from English language, 70 from logical reasoning and 30 from current affairs and general knowledge. There is negative marking so, chose your questions wisely.
Firstly, improve your english, grammar and your reading speed. Apart from reading, improve your interpretation skills. Once you improve them, your two main subjects will get prepared. For general knowledge, follow any lucent book, and for current affairs, go for The Hindu and any one website of your choice which you follow consistently.
Ailet requires at least 4-5 hours of study daily as per me. But it depends from person to person.
Thanks.
