I scored 144 in lfat 2019 and i am General. So will i be called for counselling or not
Hello Anmol,
The cutoff released by LFAT2019 first round :
general:182.4
However, you may get a chance for further rounds of counselling but at the same time as compared to previous year cutoff trends it seems a bit difficult for you to be called for counselling as for LFAT 2018 last round cutoff went to 150 marks.
Anyhow hope for the best.
Good Luck
Hi, I got 114marks in LFAT exam. Can i get a seat in Allahabad university or affiliated college? Reply plz...
Hello Dinkar,
Considering you are from the General category, the cutoff score for a General candidate this year is 182.5. As per the previous trends, here are the cutoff score over the rounds -
- Round 1 - 174
- Round 2 - 164.50
- Round 3,4 and 5 - 153.43
- Round 6 - 150.58.
If you are from the general category, there is a very slight chance of you getting admission in AU as the cutoffs are even higher this year. However, don't lose hope as cutoffs change over the rounds, so wait patiently and meanwhile keep a lookout for other institutes as well to keep your options open.
All the Best!

Hello Sonu,
This year, the cutoff score for an OBC category candidate is 172.80 in the first round.
As per the previous year cutoff trends, here are the cutoff scores for an OBC category candidate over the rounds -
- Round 1 and 2 - 150.58
- Round 3,4 and 5 - 130
- Round 6 - 124
As you can see, round 6 of the previous year cutoff fits your score and this year the cutoffs are higher, so it seems you have a 50-50 chance of getting admission in the last lists. Keep a track of the cutoffs and meanwhile, look for other institutes as well to keep your options open.
All the Best!
I am getting 160 in LAFT. IN sc category .can I get main campus of Allahbad university ?
Hey Praful,
The first round cutoffs for LFAT has already been released by Allahabad University. The first round cutoff for SC category candidates is 152.So based upon your score it seems that you are eligible for admission in the first round of cutoffs itself. You will be issued a call letter to appear in the counselling of LFAT 2019.Your final admission depends upon qualifying the counselling round ad subsequently paying the admission fees to lock your seat.
Best of Luck!
hiii...i got 156.60 marks in lfat 2019 ....i belong to obc category ..is there any chance of me to get admission in 4th to 6th round ...
Hello Shweta,
In the first round, the cutoff score for an OBC category candidate is 172.80. As per the previous year cutoff trends, here are the cutoff scores for OBC candidates over the rounds -
- Round 1 and 2 - 150.58
- Round 3,4 and 5 - 130
- Round 6 - 124
As you can see, the cutoffs dipped drastically after the second round, so I will say that you have a decent chance of getting a seat in AU in the fourth to the sixth round. Although, while waiting for the rounds do make sure to look for other institutes and universities to make sure you get a seat in your desired place.
All the Best!

This year the cutoff for a general category student in the first round is 182.4 marks. As you can see, the cutoff is a bit higher this year. And since your score is just on the borderline of the thirds to the sixth rounds, I would say that you have a 50-50 chance of getting a seat. Although, don't lose hope, wait for the other cutoffs and also keep a lookout for other institutes as well to keep your options open.
All the Best!
