Which would be the best college to target with a Score of 161 in Nmat ? Got a call from Alliance University Bangalore ! Hows Alliance compared to Christ or some other renound college in terms of Placement and Packages ? kindly also help me with a list of some good colleges to target @ this Score !
Hello Aspirant,
Choosing a college for MBA would largely depend on your personal and professional interests.Coming to your question ,Alliance University is good for MBA,the course content, structure and quality of faculty is good in this institution . Comparing it with Christ University , it may stand a level down but that is because Christ is an older institution and has got a very good reputation over the years, The placements might be a litter better in Christ , but otherwise , Alliance is equally good. Moreover, if you study well, update your skills and knowledge , you will easily grab a good opportunity irrespective of the college.. They train the students well, so you can expect a good quality education and they provide practical lessons in management, case-study method and grooming on personal development, business etiquette, presentation skills, workplace conduct, business awareness etc.The college offers decent placements. Many good companies like Tata Consultancy Services, CBRE, ITC, Mahindra, Nestle, OCBC Bank (Singapore), Asian Paints, Cadbury, HDFC, CRISIL, and Piaggio visits the campus for placements. The highest salary package offered in our course was 22 LPA.

I paid ₹25000 in Alliance University, Bangalore in Mid February as a Registration fees for BBA but i dont want to study their because of this pandemic . When i told this to college they told me that they cant refund that fees please help me out how i can get back my money?
Dear Aspirant,
From a pure business perspective speaking in the language of contracts: They made you an offer and you accepted. Thus becomes an enforceable contract. Usually in such contracts they will specific a window (date) by which you can opt out and if you did not do it within the specified date then the contract is binding on both parties. Ideally it should have been given in writing to avoid any ambiguity in the adherence to the rules.
Please read the prospects very carefully and check if there such a date mentioned for withdrawal. If there is a date mentioned, and if you did not avail of that window then it is certainly a default on your part. If there is no date mentioned then from a consumer point of view, this contract is one sided and it can be contested in a consumer court – like the Ombudsmen in your area.
Good Luck
