Hello aspirant,
based on previous year's cutoffs, and with your OBC category, you might get into Amrita University. But since you haven't mentioned your OBC rank, here are the list of colleges that you might get in, based on your CRL:
- NIT Agartala
- NIT Srinagar
- NIT Hamirpur
- NIT Meghalaya
- NIT Sikkim
- NIT Arunachal Pradesh
This list might not be exact since the cutoffs and availability of seats in the subsequent rounds of counselling, vary each year. You can use the college predictor tool below to know more:

Which College is better Amrita University,Coimbatore or Vit Vellore?
Hey aspirant,
Firstly colleges are selected on the basis of your own priorities so do that and now let's distinguish between both the colleges on various points:-
Infrastructure-both the universities are beautifully made so no competition in that.
Popularity-vit is one of the best private university in India and since its an old university so it's well known amongst students and parents. Amrita is also well known and popular amonst everyone.
College life-if you want to enjoy your college life with your friends and want to spent your weekends outside in cafe along with your studiesor something then VIT is really good for you. But if you want to do the same in amrita then you won't be able to as it's really strict and for weekends you'll have to follow many rules. First you'll have to take permission from your parents the your parents will have to talk to the warden and then the warden will sign a pass for you and then you can go.
Placement-highest package offered by VIT is 41.6lpa and average is 7.6 lpa. Whereas in amrita the highest package offered is 43lpa and average is 5lpa.
So according to your priorities you can now select your Preferable college.
Hope it helps
Good luck.
i got mechanical engineering in amrita university, amritapuri campus ,so i thought of joing there, and my question is CAN I TRANSFER TO CSE GROUP IN 2ND SEMESTER AFTER STUDYING MECHANICAL ENGINEERING IN THE FIRST SEMESTER ? AND HOW MUCH CGPA SHOULD WE SCORE TO BE ELIGIBLE TO TRANSFER?
hello there
you can change your branch only after second semester .for that you have to fill the application form provided by the college .first you must have high cgpa ,about 8+ cgpa and second there must be any vacancy .if the vacancy is less then the best cgpa holders will get the preference .

Ive secured 8510 rank in AEEE for the Bangalore campus ECE branch in amrita college. Will I get any Scholarship for this rank??
Hello aspirant,
Congratulations for getting good rank AEEE2020. The rank you get in AEEE is good with this rank you have possibilities of get admission in Amrita university Bangalore campus for ECE. But as year to year cut off changes so you should also prepare plan B for the condition if unfortunately you will not get admission .
You should also go with the last year cut offs that will help you in planning accordingly. The link for last year cut offs is given below.

As per your question is about the scholarship but sorry to say but with the rank you have there are very very less possibilities of getting scholarship. As the scholarship is allotted for very few seats that is only 108 seats of Bangalore campus are allotted for scholarship so the cut off rank for it is very high. You should also go with below link in which all details about fee structure and scholarship is given.

I am a SC candidate from Tamil Nadu and my AMRITA University AEEE Rank is 20019 , can I get Mechanical Engineering seat in AMRITA University Coimbatore Campus ?
Hello aspirant,
Sorry to say but according to last some years cot offs you have very less chances of getting admission in the Coimbattoor campus for mechanical engineering. As the Coimbattoor campus of Amrita university is one of the best engineering college of south India so the cut offs for this campus are usually very high.
But as cut offs may vary year to year so you may try for that and also go with the below cut offs link of all AEEE colleges so that you may get clear idea about the cut offs of all branches for all categories.

Dear Applicant,
Amrita University, Coimbatore only accepts admissions through AEE test like in BITSAT,VITEEE,etc. And thus they do not accept JEE mains score.I am sorry to tell you this. But still do not lose hope you have scored a really good percentile so you can apply in VIT,SRM,etc.as due to COVID19 they have removed VITEEE and SRMJEE.So best of luck and I hope you get into the desired college and this is according to my information till now.So keep in touch with the university they will provide you precise information

I get 18709 rank in AEEE can I get a seat in Amrita University Coimbatore campus for Aerospace Engineering. Im from Tamil Nadu
can i get cse amritapuri(amrita) with a rank of 4182?
As per previous year data you have chances for CSE and other branches in Amritapuri and Bangalore, you haven't mentioned your domicile state,so considering open quota with 4182 rank you have chances in Aerospace, Civil, Chemical, Electronics and Instrumentation in Coimbatore Campus. Cut-offs are subjective to change and based on various factors like number of students appearing, seat matrix, level of paper etc, you may check out previous year cut off for various branches in their respective campuses at https://www.google.com/amp/s/engineering.careers360.com/articles/aeee-cutoff/amp
I got 2.9k rank in amrita .what branch will I get in Coimbatore campus?
Hello,
It is difficult to predict the seat allotment now because the cut off changes every year and this year the criteria to determine the rank has changed, it depends on 60% marks score in AEEE and 40% marks scored in PCM in class 12. Last year the rank was based on marks score in AEEE. So the previous years cut off cannot be used to predict the chances. You have secured a decent rank so you may have chances of getting seat in CSE, EEE, ECE, Mechanical depending on your category.
i got 4537 rank in aeee exam but i belong a poor family , i live in uttar pradesh. just now i give jee mains exam, i think that i have score 125 marks in jee mains september what i do means that i wait the result of jee mains or i go costly amrita college.please reply satisfy answer.
U have a good rank in AEEE...with this rank u may not get cse in coimbatore but u may get other branches....and u may get cse in other amritha campuses.....and u said u may get 125 in jee it is a pretty good score..u may get a good percentile may be around 96...but it depends on difficulty of ur paper...but u can get percentile above 95...u have a scope to get decent rank in jee ADVANCE too...if u get it then good if not don't worry ur mains score is good....if ur are sc or st then u will get into better NITs...
So let me think in ur condition...u mentioned ur from a poor family....so with ur AEEE rank there is no chance of u getting a scholarship so it may cost around 12lakh for 4years..and ur from UP, travelling expenses also may cost....
so I suggest u to atleast apply for CSAP in amritha..it is until 9th September...ur jee results will be may be on 11th or 12th....so u will get a clarity to choose which college at that time....and after that it is ur choice to choose a seat allotment in amritha or not....
So All the best....even though ur from a poor family u have a better chances in getting into good colleges...with ur jee
Wish u all the best.....and choose what u want this is just my opinion...so u need to choose
