It is best to do it from NIFT. As Niftians are preferred but then again, your internships and performance do count more than merely being a part of NIFT fraternity. Most of the students receive PPOs so do not worry about placement preferences.

AMU is no doubt one of the best universities in india. Provided the religion related problems going on in there, the education is good. Of course the degree has value even if it is from AMU. Except the fact that no college can be perfect, AMU is good to get a degree for fashion designing.
