We can say that graphic design makes a goods based for animation because in graphic designing you learn how to make designs. Both the fields are important for the designers. If you have basic or advanced knowledge of graphic design then it will help you a lot to understand animation. In graphic design they teach you all the fundamentals of design like typography, colour scheme and layout composing. Where in animation you need all this skills to make your animation more interactive and engaging.

The eligibility criteria required for M.Sc in Animation are as follows: Candidates with B.Sc in Animation are preferred. However, those who have a bachelor's degree in the related field are also eligible.

It's fairly hard to break into animation, but once you are in, as long as you can play nice with others, you are 'in'. Most jobs animators get are because of referrals from other animators. If there is a posted spot, there will be a lot of competition.

VIT has a course called B.Sc. in multimedia and  animation. Admission to which is given based on your merit in 10+2. You need to apply for the forms online. Selection will be done based on your 12th score and then you will be given a call for further counselling. The minimum eligibility to apply for it is to have an aggregate of 60% in ypir 12th.

Dear aspirant,

Kolkata has very less amount of job opportunities. Many engineering seats stay vacant even after the spot round counselling . There are no companies coming to their campus for placements and eventually they stay unplaced.

Likewise animation too has no scope in kolkata so i would recommend you to go to Mumbai or delhi or foreign if possible.
