Hello Sundeep,
As you have no interest in Btech , you did well .B. Tech cannot be taken as a last and final qualification degree, especially in the present time as the market is full of competition. As you have interest in Animation , I would recommend you to do Maya and 3DMax Animation course .
Hope for your bright future !

Hey Prateek,
Any student who has passed higher secondary examination in any stream(Science, Commerce or arts) can pursue this course. Minimum aggregate marks criteria exists in case of some college and that too is around 50%. You have got 68% which is much more than required. Hence you can get admission for BSc Animations.

does animation has brighter scope and demand in future?if yes,in india or abroad?
Hello Abhigyaan
The scope for animation is very vast in India and abroad in India.First I wan to tell you that be unique and dont try to copy others if your working and skills are different this will surely help you in your career.
Talking about animation .Animation has an huge demand for films and other production houses.Animation and VFX both has good demand but you have to learn a lot and have that skills which match the professional style. There are lots of institute who provide courses on animation and some have jobs at higher level also.you can try animation but you have to be passionate about that.
what is the scope of animation in coming 5-10 years and what are the job opportunities available in our country and abroad?is it profitable to pursue this course over interests of engineering?
Hey Abhigyan
Being a citizen of India I am sure you must have experienced the craze our society has for engineering (it will never be considered a bad option even though you may get paid around 15,000 for working 9 hours a day).
I will tell you the scope of Animation in India in the best 5 to 10 years.
After getting a degree in animation you may get an opportunity to work in Online and Print News Media, Cartoon Production, Movie production, Advertising, Video Gaming, Theater, Film & Television and E-learning. Even youtube is a booming opportunity for animators nowadays. An experience can lead you to get paid around 40,000 after 3 to 4 years of experience. If you learn 2D/3D animation you have lot of option to change your gears, ie switching between supportive industries: gaming, digital, web, film, TV, print or broadcast but you will always need to be updated with the latest tools and trends (it is exciting but it may be tiring unless you are gifted to be creative). The best place to learn animation is Canada (if it suits your budget). You can try Rubika(India) too as it is one of the best institutes for animation.
I hope this helped you a bit. All the best!

i hav applied for b.sc animation in VIT. why are they taking so long to close the application? before it was aug 12th now its sep 02nd. They can allot the seats if they close the application asap.
This year due to the pandemic, There were postponement of competitive exams and other general exams across the country. Many students faced certain issues and could not Fill the Application forms on time. Thus, Universities and Colleges are providing more time to the interested Candidates to apply for the courses of their choice. So, its taking long time this year. Thus, you need to co-operate with the management and the process will finish when it has to.
Hope you understand.
Good luck!
