i am interested in vfx suggest me how to start after 12?
Hello Gopi,
Career in VFX and animation is in high demand. Although the pay is not so great however there is huge demand for skilled workers. You are required to be skilled in softwares such as Adobe Photoshop, After-effects, Autodesk Maya, and much more. Apart from this, knowledge in sound editing, video editing, 3-ds max, etc. is required. The pay is not so great and you may expect around 17,000 per month as your average income in the beginning years.
In order to start your career in this field either you may start learning by your own from online sources or if you want to pursue an official course(degree) then there are several institutes offering so, such as DSK SupInfocom, Pune , National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad , Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC) , Frameboxx Animation & Visual Effects , Xplora Design Skool (XDS) , Industrial Design Centre (IDC), Mumbai , Raffles Millennium International, Bengaluru, etc.
Your job or role in the industry would be of Animator, Production Designer, VFX Director, Supervisor, etc..
Hope this helps

How will free lancing help a college student in terms of animation
Hello Vatsal,
Becoming a freelancer is quite easy but grabbing big projects is quite difficult. For getting good projects, or projects that pay you around 2000-5000 or more, require skill as well as experience.
Having a good skill in the field of animation, can land you certain freelancing opportunities in tutorial companies, as well as cartoon designing, etc.
For starting such things, you may first create a blog or something, so as to showcase your skills, and then continue with websites such as freelancer.com (//freelancer.com) .
Becoming a freelancer, will recover your personal expenses in college. You can have a secondary pocketmoney source. Apart from this, you will develop a new skill, which if polished properly, can help you in placements when coming to multimedia companies, such as Adobe, Unity, etc..
Hope this helps
