Let me clear your doubt. For doing bsc in multimedia (animation and graphics) course the basic requirement is 10+2 .for getting admission is college they may either conduct their entrance exam or take admissions on the basis of merit-list . Many colleges select candidates through a merit list prepared by a university for this course admission. Some of the reputed institutes conduct entrance examination along with the personal interview for selecting candidates for course admission. There are  few colleges which directly admission for this course.

Animation and multimedia courses are available in many colleges such as St.Xavier's college, arena animation, goodwill college, hero animations academy, IMS design and innovation academy etc. The eligibility and the admission process differs according to the college but you need to possess 10+2 marksheet in order to apply. Hey Vasanth! Candidates can register online for admission to any UG or PG course offered by the college. They have to register separately for each course. The registration process is free of cost. The candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent qualifying examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from any recognized university to get admission in BE/ B.Tech. To get admission in ME/ M.Tech, MBA and MCA courses, it is mandatory for the candidates to have a Bachelor’s Degree in the respective discipline from any recognized university.

For B.Tech program, selection of the candidates is done on the basis of marks in 10+2/ HSC or its equivalent examination. For ME/ M.Tech, MBA and MCA courses, the selection is done on the basis of candidate’s performance in TANCET, CET, MAT or GATE including the percentage in Graduation or Diploma Degree courses.

If you wish to apply for Animation courses after 10th then you can go for Certificate or Diploma courses. Many of the institutes require 10+2 for Diploma courses. But certificate courses you can go after 10th only.
