sir/ mam can i appear for apsc, upsc exam with the preparation of ssc cgl exam? I mean if I cleared the syllabuses of ssc cgl, will thats knowledge help me to crack these exam?
SSC CGL is a objective based examination where as the Civil Service examination don't have that kind of problem solving skills required. In prelims you will get objective question but for that you have to study comprehensive GS. SO it might help you a bit, but for civil services preparation for it distinctively is required. The students, who appear for the Prelims usually prepares for the Mains and they get the things out of it, so competing with them can be hard for you, but if you work hard in studying both the examinations along side, then it would be beneficial for you.

Do you recommend studying for 3 government exams while at 2nd semester of college? **The three exams that comes to my mind are GATE, SSC CGL& State govt exam (APSC)***
Dear Student ,
You're in 2nd semester means now you're in 1st year . The Govt exams you are interested for have different syllabus .. but , yes .. some common subjects you can start preparing from your current academic year such as English , Aptitude , static GK etc, after your semester study hours ! But .. you must to be focused first that in which Govt exam you have kept in your 1st preference to crack .. based on your goal you can continue your preparation while studying in college .
GATE exam mainly taken for higher studies as well as for jobs in PSUs( most for B.Techs) .
and SSC CGL/ APSC you can give after your graduation .
Hope you understand !
