B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science are co-branches of computer science and engineering. Both will open almost same scopes after completion of the degree. With Artificial Intelligence, you will study about algorithms in Machine learning along with data Science concepts. While in Data Science is more focused on Data analysis and to extract useful information from buch of raw data. The field is more oriented towards data scientist.

Anna University is a government college in Tamil Nadu, which was established in 1978. It offers courses on B.Sc, B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, B.Arch, M.Arch and Doctoral (Ph.d). Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science programme is that you have passed a higher secondary exam with a minimum of 50% or its equivalent from a recognized board.  As compared to the for the artificial intelligence you need to be qualified with good rank in order to get top most universities. Valid JEE Main scores are required for several UG course admissions, such as B.Tech with artificial intelligence. Based upon the institution the cutoff varies.

As per my research MGU KOTTAYAM does not offer BCA with artificial intelligence.

But they do offer MSc with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

This post graduate programme in Artficial Intelligence and Machine Learning  offered by the college aims to boost up the practical knowledge in the specialized area of Artificial Intelligence.

The syllabus covers a broad, interdisciplinary range of topics, including Data Science, both theoretical and applied Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning including Mathematical foundations and Algorithms and domain-specific applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

The duration of the programme is 2 years spreading over 4 Semesters.
