it was established in year 2001 and is affiliated to visvesvaraya technological university,Bslagavi (VTU) , it is spread in an area of 30 acres. the institute has got recognition from AICTE, government of karnataka, NBA ,NAAC, UGC. as per 2020 rankings ,it was ranked 55th in Engineering Colleges (VTU) , 71st in Management Colleges (VTU).

so it is a good college, one of the  leading engineering college in bangalore. the facilities provided are also good , like library, smart rooms and much more.

The candidate should have vast knowledge in hardware and software in computer curriculum. Candidate should have good communication skill and programming knowledge. He or she should have a vast knowledge in  computer programming like C,C++, python, Java. Should have good and vast knowledge in  internet, web searching, e commerce, online advertising,numeric analysis, fraud detection. Should have no backlog in their academic years. They should have no gap period period in the course of his education. After all Google looks for innovation and dedication.

I strongly recommend you not to take specialization courses before hand in BTECH. The reason behind it is that you restrict your other future choices and opportunities in the other fields and domains. After Computer Science Engineering, you can take specialization in AI, Data Science, Machine learning, but you cannot do vice versa. SO, make your choices wisely.

IF you want to pursue btech in a old conventional branch then ece at iit dhanbad is best but if you have no problem in choosing new branches then iit jodhpur artificial intelligence is also good but i wont advice to take cse at iit dharwad as it is a new iit comparatively. Overall going by brand name and branch combined iit dhanbad ece might prove to be the best option.
