There are two modes of admission in BTech program at Sastra University which includes either on jee main+ 12th boards score or entirely on board's score. Look there is no cutoffs or minimum score criteria required for getting a seat. The admission procedure is completely done on merit basis through a counselling process. See when ever you are wiling to take any specialization, you should be sure about the enthusiasm you have regarding your specialization. Now if you have genuine interest in AI and Machine learning then you should go for it but if you aren't sure then go for CSE core.

See this is a matter of fact that CSE core have more widen area of employability. So if you go for CSE Core then you have a lot of area to work on. But if you get in AI and ML then you are leaning towards the sector of Financial Engineering, Data Mining and Data Science along with Neural Networks and other cognizant factors of AI. Thus you are attempting a field which have a lot of growth ahead. But if you aren't sure about the subject then I would always suggest to go for the CSE core and if you build interest then you can Discipline Specific Elective in AI.

Computer science and engineering with specialization in artificial intelligence is a hot branch now a days and is offered by Vellore institute of technology at Chennai campus only. Vellore campus offers core CSE and other specializations like data science, internet of things and others.

There are almost 3500 colleges are present in India those are engineering colleges and offer BTech degree. So you want to know the total fees of BTech in artificial intelligence which is good department but there are so many colleges are offered for this course.

So if you don't have mentioned the college name then it's quite difficult to predict that which college fees you want to know . Because every college fees different. I'll said you an approximate fees like your fees may be 1lakh to 1.5 lakh per annum in any private college with government admission. But if you join as management quota then after tuition fees you have to pay more amount of money. Which is different in every college. And hostel if available with your identify college then hostel fees you have to pay.
