which is a better job between the two a fresher assistant professor in a ugc-aided private autonomous degree college or a fresher content writer as a full time freelancer or full time blogger
See from the perspective of career growth, both the fields are great but technically, you will get a better salary in Assistant Professor compared to most of the freelancer. Now I would say if you aspire to be a vlogger or a content writer then you can do it along with your Assistant professorship job. I would say you should do some content writing internship and gain experience and then if you fill then switch the field. Now if you don't have any economical issue then you can go for a full time freelancer but getting freelancing to the pace will be time consuming. So as per my opinnion I would recommend you to go for the Assitant Professor job and then do the content writing as part time and gain some experience and then approach the industries, this way your value in the industry will increase as a content writter.

do assistant professor of degree colleges need to be active on social media platforms like Twitter Facebook Instagram n linkedin
Its a personal space of a person and its not mandatory for a Assistant Professor to be active on social media platforms. So if you don't like you can obviously ignore it. Now, there can be some awareness programs or outreach programs in which the college may ask you to give a talk on the social media platforms regarding some topics, for that case you may need to know a bit about the system or you can learn it anyway. So its not mandatory for an Assistant Professor to be active in social media platforms like Twitter, FB, Instagram. Now regarding LinkedIN, if you are interested in getting somewhere else a new job then it can be really helpful as there are many professionals who use to recruit there. SO if you do LinkedIN it can be helpful for you to update your career but also its not mandatory.

do assistant professor in a college compulsorily have to be active on social media platforms
Hello Naresh,
Hope you are doing well! Here's Your answer :
Look It's Not Compulsory but Social networking is a powerful tool for teachers/Professor that can be used either for personal or professional means. On a personal front, social networking lets you mix with people from all over the world. Digital citizenship is one of the most important skills for 21st-century learners to be aware of, yet too often, we don't see it as our role to teach students how to behave online.
1) Social networks allow professor/teachers to share idea with each other.
2) Comparing notes on classroom teaching techniques and learning styles can help you enhance the learning experience in your classroom. One can also share lesson plans and visual aid ideas.
4) Social networks help you know of seminar, conferences and other development workshops in your area or online. Touching base with individuals from those entities would help them connect with you and keep you in the loop.
5) Social networking is as important for teachers/professor as it is for others. While, social media is a handy tool in the classroom, it can be as beneficial outside the classroom. There are a number of ways that one can take advantage of networking.
I hope it helps!
Thank You!

how much does an assistant professor get paid after 7 years of experience as assistant professor in ugc-aided private autonomous degree college
See the pay levels of the private autonomous colleges aren't fixed. Its dependent on the status of the college and its reputation. Sometimes in Private college considerable increments aren't given and there can be sometimes that the recruitment is entirely contractual which fixes the salary and a little increment for a period. So in general its hard to say so. But as per some of the top online recruitment platforms the salary after 7 years of experience can vary in the range of Rs. 60k-1L at most in most of the Private colleges. Now if you have done PHD from abroad or have been a professor in some college of higher repute compared to that of the private college then you can get moreover like Rs. 1.5L at max per month.

Dear sir, as per ugc 2019 notification NET is not compulsary or mandatory for assistant professor!? because notification itself read that either NET Or phd (ugc approved) or phd from top 500 universities is eligible for assistant professor. So sir, how could we say, NET is mandatory for asst prof!?
Hi there!
As per the recent notification from the Ministry Of Education, PhD will not be mandatory for applying for the post of assistant professor in any university or college in India. This criteria will remain enforced till 2023. As far as NET is concerned, if you have a PhD degree from Top 500 Universities then you would be exempted from NET criteria. Without NET also, you can apply for the post of assistant professor if you are having a PhD degree from Top 500 Universities.
Thankyou.
