Because if they find any anomaly in the documents, they need to get it corrected or follow the laid down procedures. No! The application fee for IIT Madras online degree programme once paid will not be refunded. If you cancel your application, or you are not able to attend qualifier exam or you fail the qualifier exam in any case, there is no provision for application fee to be refunded once paid.

See this is a very subjective question as the Data Science industry is booming like anything in the current scenario and in such a case getting into the online program of Indian Institute of Technology Madras in Data Science is a good way for tapping into the huge potential of the current job market.
