I want to get a seat in iitm aerospace engineering btech+mtech ,now I am class 11 and I am enrolled in aakash institute is my modules enough or should I buy cengage
Hello,
Jee advanced is one of the toughest exam and the selection rate is very less when compared to other exams .So one should have a master plan for the preparation. As you are dreaming for IITM ,as you know it is the top ranked campus so you have to put in all effort for the same. It is to be noted that you should do smart work rather than hard work.
Coming to your question. Yes, materials provided by the institutions are well framed and structured. It clears all your basics and enhance your problem solving skill. Referring some books is your choice, and of course you can benefit from that as you get better exposure to numerous patterns of question. But the important thing is you should be up to date with your regular topics and clear your doubts. Only after completing your materials and problems you should go for extra books. So be clear with theory part and complete your materials first. It is good to have extra reference but not important. More importance is for giving mock test and previous year paper. As you are in 11 you can solve HC verma for physics as it is the best choice . You can buy them when you feel to have extra practice.Try getting second hand materials and most of the institution have libraries(if classes are offline).
For last year the rank for IITM Aero dual was 2729-3816
So do your level best.

iitm v/s mdu for bca Which one best?
hi...
Fot IITM - The college offers good placement. The college doesn't have much placements in BBA and MBA courses. It is not good for BCA course. Many companies, like Wipro and SAP Labs, visit our campus for placements.
BCA from MDU Rohtak. Objective : A candidate can get admission in this programme after 10+2 or equivalent in any discipline. After completion of this course, a student can do Master's degree in Computer Science / IT, like Master of Computer Applications (MCA) or Master of Science (Computer Science).
I have been admitted Jain University for BCA and Now I have also applied for BSC Data science and programming online degree from IITM, I have couple of questions: 1.Will it be too hectic (near to impossible) to manage two courses at the same time? 2.Will this help for pursuing PG abroad?
hi,
see as per ugc guideline, students may pursue one regular course and one distance education simultaneously, so its valid to pursue the two course in same duration. however you need to manage time and make specific duration for both of the course. to get a decent score in both of the program, you may need to cut down time from your social gatherings or outings.
now coming to the abroad studies, students need to appear in ielts or toefel like examinations and bring a good score to selection in top institute, you need to have letter of recommendation from your faculty, if you have done any course work or project that is an added advantage.
so keep learning and your future will be good.
Which is best option 4 years CS from COEP Pune/VJTI Bombay or 5 years interagated course BTEC+ MTEC in ABV IIITM Gwalior in IT branch?
Hi Arvind!
Undergoing an Integrated Course in whatever Course for that matter, is always advantageous! Like, you are completing your Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degrees simultaneously and in 5 years when it conventionally takes 6 years.
You spend less time and money into this Integrated Course. Students undergoing such Courses are given first priority when it come to jobs as you have acquired more knowledge in short period of time and ahead of others! There are various opportunities and double the competition for it! So, in such cases it is better to opt for Integrated Course!
Hope this is helpful!
All the best!
which is better iitm or dias ? both are ipu affiliated but which is better for bba course?
Hello student,
Between Institute of innovation in technology and management New Delhi and Delhi Institute of advanced studies for BBA , as per the web data and student reviews, I think IITM is far better than dias.
The infrastructure of IITM is very good. This is located in Janakpuri New Delhi with NAAC B grADE. The teaching quality is very good also. This course costs about 3.1 full lakh.you should have minimum 50% marks in your 10 + 2 level with English as a compulsory subject to eligible for this course. Hello aspirant,
HSEE 2020 Merit List

Institute of Innovation in Technology and Management, Janakpuri offers BBA course, and is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi and not affiliated to MDU.

sir/ Madam, how about prefering IIT BHU (C.Sc) over IITM (EE) .Please help me out this fix.
Hello Student,
Both of them are good. But out of two, IIT Madras is a better one. Both CSE and EEE are courses that are very is high in demand. Hence you need to analyse the university before deciding. Since they are IITs they are top ranked universities in the nation and there is not exactly much of a difference in the quality of education since they will be given maximum attention and facilities. But due to the ranking of various factors I would suggest this university.
And it also matters that what is your personal choice of course since they are different departments.
Here are the other factors to consider this college:
Infrastructure and college life:
IIT Madras has a good infrastructure with well equipped labs and classrooms. Hostels are pretty decent and nice environment is always maintained. You can see that the campus life is going to be really well. College life is good with the right kind of atmosphere given to the students who come from different places.
Fa culty and quality of education:
All the faculties are qualified and experienced over here. And education, curriculum is made in such a way that students are made to acquire more hands on knowledge than just the theory. It is not just the books and classes. Focuses more on practical knowledge than the theoretical one. Education quality and the way guidance is given is really good.
Placements:
Placements are good as good companies visit this college. students gets placed and opportunities of internship is provided to the students from companies.
According to our website, It is a very good rated one.

so Im going for josaa ,online predictors and last year cutoff say I can get nit tirchy eee and iitm biotech ,eng physics, naval and ocean eng , both are by hs quota so help me between nit vs iit and also the course, originally I always thought of working in tech industry worldwide anywhere help me
Hello Tharun,
First of all congrats for grabbing such good options in premium institutions. Now the answer to you question depends on two things, one is whether you are very particular about the college reputation or brand name.Second is your interest in the subjects you have mentioned. Only after these comes other aspects because it is you who is going to take up the course. Hence, if you concerned about the IIT tag then you may go for it . This is also because IIT on a global platform is considered as highly reputed institution and is considered as India's MIT. But having said that you should also consider the courses you have got , your interest level in those. First when you take engineering physics , it is a fascinating field if you like physics. This course will be on core theoretical physics combined with its application which is engineering. Now this is basically like taking BS.c Physics from IIT. And as far as the placement is concerned, there wont be that many companies coming targeting only EP students. Most of them at the end of the day end up sitting for non-core placements with electrical or computer science students that too after gaining extra skills like programming but if you are really hardworking then you may end up getting a good job no matter what.. But if you an intention to study further , then you may enter into fields like Particle Physics, Nanophotonics, String Theory, Nuclear Science, Quantum Physics & Computing, Engineering Optics, Computational Physics, Biophysics, Astrophysics etc and even end up working in NASA. Coming to biotech, IIT does not emphasis much in it . If you like biology and would go for advance study abroad, then you may end up better than expected otherwise not much scope.Even for this course , you may end up in non-core placements , hence simply for IIT tag you can go it that matters to you, otherwise compared to this EE at NIT Trichy(which is a topmost NIT) has far better scope. Finally coming to naval and ocean engineering , if you want to work as a Naval Architect or Ocean Engineer, or if you have interest towards getting into aerospace field then this is the course. But as far as India is concerned the in this field the supply is more but demand is less,so again go for it if you are going to be persistent with it and is ready to do further studies. Conclusion, is that if you have good interest in these fields, placements in non-core fields does not concern you and want a rich learning experience go with IIT Madras because it is an old IIT. Old IITs are very rich in terms of the learning experience but if you want a top engineering branch and good placements in core field from a reputed institution then choose NIT Trichy, remember EEE can also help you work in tech field on a global level.
I have just provided a little insight into all the courses based on their scope , kindly research more about their syllabus , reviews from seniors, core areas , future growth, about the campus life etc and take a well informed decision after thorough analysis . At the end of the day the decision is entirely based on your interests ,goals and situations .
All the best
