Automation and Robotics
Hey,
To be very honest the eligibility for an engineering degree for any course requires that a candidate needs to have passed 10+2 from a recognised board with Physics and Mathematics as their main subjects.
As you have PCMB and also IT you are perfect for the course you have mentioned. As you have IT it will be easier for you to understand the language and hence will help you to learn the language easily.
You can apply to different college offering the course either through merit based or entrance test selection as decided by the respective college.
Hope that helps.
All the best.
Thank you.
Hi Aspirant!
I am afraid to say that VIT Vellore is no good for mechatronics or automation branch. No doubt VIT is popular for its placement records but those are only good for CSE, IT , EEE or ECE. All the other branches than these has less number of placement opportunities. The average salary offered by the recruiting companies for the branches like automation or mechtronics is no more than 3-4 LPA. I would suggest you to chose any other branch if you apply.
Thankyou!
Hi Aspirant,
It is a good course and also has many recent scopes with present advent of technologies.Robotics & industrial automation refers to the use of control systems, computers and information technology in handling various processes and machinery in an industry. You can get placements in various rising companies and small robotics companies.
Hope it helps!!

I am not saying that doing automobile engineering is not a good option .
Automobile engineering is only good when you are getting some top colleges or government colleges like IITs , NITs , PEC , DTU , NSIT , State Government Engineering Colleges E.T.C.

HI Aryan,
It totally depends upon your interest and passion. If you are interested in machines and how they are made or how they work mechanical engineering would be the best choice for you. Now, if you are interested in AI or future technologies like robotics and have affinity towards programming then you should go for Automation and Robotics.

hi,
see cutoff score fluctuate every year and it may varies with certain facts like number of applicants, gate difficulty level of paper, students category, choice of stream and so on. however based on your score , by analyzing the previous years data, you have less chances for electrical engineering stream or interdisciplinary stream. you have good chances for iit delhi control and automation system, power system engineering.
