Anyone from non cse branch in diploma can change to Computer science engineering in BTech.

It is possible through lateral entry in btech. By writing a entrance exam conducted by the state Government you can join into btech in computer science engineering.

If you wanted to join in any specific college in computer science you can go through the management quota also without attempting the entrance exam which requires to pay the donation fee for the seat.

I advise you to go through counseling by writing the entrance exam.

As cut-offs varies from year to year, it is difficult to predict exactly. Based on previous year's cut-offs, you have chances of getting seat in Automobile Engineering branch in SRM Chennai Campus.

Expected cut-off of SRM JEEE 2022 for B. Tech Automobile Engineering branch is around 54000 - 55000.
