I am an automobile engineer with diploma and 16 years experience now my age is 36 can I do higher studies in automobile through part time or post graduation
hi,
see since you have completed diploma, if you want to do masters course, you need to first complete your bachelors, then you may do post graduation, however you may join full time b,tech course by lateral entry state wise entrance, however there is some colleges in india which provide part time b.tech course, but it may create problem for job prospect since most of the companies recruits candidates who have completed b.tech on full time course.
I am a diploma automobile engineer 2006 batch, can I go for higher studies in automobile field, now my age 36
hi,
see you may apply for state engineering colleges or state wise lateral entry exam, if you are interested for b.tech course, diploma pass candidates are allowed to give lateral entry exam, and may join the b.tech course on second year. however there is no age bar, if you are interested in studies and gain experience. I suppose you have technical work experience which will be beneficial for you for future job scope after higher studies.

B.Tech Automobile in MIT Manipal vs KIIT BBSR which has more MEDIAN or AVAERAGE Salary Package ?? And what is the Average Package for Both Colleges ??
Hello Sarthak,
I would like to say that you can choose KIIT BBSR over MIT Manipal As the average salary and placement scenario both are better in KIIT rather than in MIT as well as the average package is considered you can see an average of 4.5 lacs from KIIT and 4 lacs from MIT, but I would suggest you to choose a college not only on the basis of placements but also on the basis of the campus, college reviews, environment etc.
You can check yourself the same for both the college in our website it self and also for other Universities too, you can simply type the course and college in google search bar and add careers360 in front of it and you will be able to get reviews on it.
I hope this helps you.
B.Tech Automobile in VIT or MIT or SRM or LPU or KIIT , which is BEST in AVERAGE SALARY PACKAGE ?? And what is AVERAGE SALARY PACKAGE for these 5 COLLEGES ??
hi,
see I have rearrange the colleges as per students review, placement records, course curriculum etc as follows,
- vellore institute of technology
- lovely professional university
- manipal institute of technology

- kalinga institute of industrial technology
hope it would help.
B.Tech in Automobile in MIT Manipal and KIIT Which PRODUCT BASED COMPANIES COME TO THESE COLLEGES ??
hi,
see manipal university has excellent curriculum and innovative lab for automobile engineering students , college has also many collaborations with industry where students get hands on experience and internship, also core companies visits the campus like adany power, Omax Auto, Gujrat Chemicals, Everest, Mettl visits campus, kiit has also excellent placement record , but some of the core companies prefer mechanical engineering branch most compare to auto mobiles, so from my point of view manipal university is better options.
can a mechatronics engineer work in automobile sector
Hello,
Yes a mechatronics engineer candidate can work in the automobile industry. The future mechatronics engineer will be able to work as a mechanical engineer with an extra knowledge in electronics systems. This facility will help the engineer to work in the electronic part of mechanical devices, as the electronic engineer will not have the appropriate mechanical considerations when deciding and designing the electronics of a mechanical device.
what is the future of automobile engineers in electric cars
Hello Aspirant,
An automobile sector can not work without Automobile Engineers. Electric cars are the future of human society. So definitely it has a huge scope. Electric cars are still developing in India even though the scope is pretty wide. Automobile Engineers definitely do have huge scope in Automobile industries, even for Electric cars.
An automobile travelling with a speed of can brake to stop within a distance of 20m. If the car is going twice as fast, i.e., 120 Km/h, the stopping distance will be ________ m
Hey,
since the speed is increased twice therefore initial speed is 120/2=60 km/hr.
now, there are two cases:
Case I:
given,
u=60 km/hr
v=0
S=20 m
Applying formula: v^2=u^2+2aS
0=(60*5/18)^2-(2*a*S)
a=(60*5/18)^2/(2*20)
Case 2:
u=120 km/hr
v=0
a=(60*5/18)^2/(2*20) (from case 1)
Applying the same formula as case 1
v^2=u^2+2aS
0=(120*5/18)^2+2*(60*5/18)/(2*20*S)
therefore
S=80 m, which is the required distance and answer.
I hope this helps.
All the best!
I am passionate about automobile engineering but still my relatives and my friends suggest me to go in IT field, I am really confused. They tell me that automobile is downgraded and i will have low finace in future thats why plz help me out guys.
hi,
see right now in india there is demand in IT sector, so thats why your friends are telling you to go for it, but if you dont have passion for it ,, you should not go, we can not give our 100 percent in studies if you do not have passion for it, now coming to automobile sector, if you do not belongs to tier 1 engineering colleges, it is really difficult to get a high paying job or a position in core auto mobile sector, however it since automobile is a semi branch of mechanical engineering, I would recommend you to go for mechanical engineering, where there is field related work and also design engineer positions are available, however mechanical branch is quite hard , has lots of mathematics and physics application.
