Can I get direct admission to BA LLB after HSC with 74%
Hello aspirant,
LLB is bachelor of Legislative Law . It is commonly known as bachelor of law, a three years course after graduation. LLB can be pursued after completion of graduation in any stream.
But if you want to go for law course directly after xii then you can pursue integrated course . In 2001 , for the first time the national law University , Jodhpur offered the integrated law degree of BBA, LLB ( hons ).
Integrated law degrees are being offered now in four different streams and honours specialization by various NLUs -BA/ BBA/ BSC/ LLB HONS . Integrated degrees are of five years duration.

I am currently persuing ba llb, in my college there is no intellectual property law as a law subject, I want to ask that can I persue llm in ip law or not..
Hello Astha,
As per the BCI guidelines, one could pursue LLM if he/she has completed his 5year integrated BA LLB or BBA LLB or 3years LLB course from a recognized university. The specific subject taught should not be a problem if you don't have that subject in your curriculum. You could still pursue LLM in IP laws.
my wait list renk 210 in symbosis pune for ba llb what are my chance
Hello aspirant. The question asked by you doesn't have a certain answer. It totally depends on how many students from the selected category are not willing to join Symbiosis Pune. But on the basis of last year's waiting list cut off, your chances of getting in are too low. Lat year one of my friends who was at ran 151 in the waiting list did not get admission even after the 4th round.
This isn't the end. You may try for other good colleges offering BA LLB. You may aim for the below mentioned colleges without wasting your time by wondering if you get selected or not.

is it worthy for a science student to drop an year for clat? what are the merits and demerits of ba llb?Does it have a good scope? what are the kind of things one needs to go through while pursuing a career in law? please help out..
Hello,
See CLAT is conducted at national level, and its scores are accepted by various NLUs, and other government/private colleges, however you should know that there are other entrance exams as well such as AILET, CUET UG which was earlier known as CUCET, PU BALLB, LSAT etc, so there are other options as well for BA-LLB, you haven't mentioned if you have already passed 12th, and missed CLAT this year or couldn't qualify the same, you could have easily filled other entrance tests form as well, nonetheless integrated law courses come in various forms such as BA-LLB, BCom-LLB, BBA-LLB, BSc-LLB, BCA-LLB etc, these are basically amalgamation of the syllabus of law with other disciplines such as art, commerce, management, science, computer application respectively, say for instance you're interested to explore the corporate world then you may opt for BBA-LLB or BCom-LLB, the syllabus would be more aligned for your future goals professionally, other than this the working opportunities for any law graduate remains the same such as appearing for judiciary exams, upsc, state pscs, ssc cgl/cpo, banking/insurance exams, railways recruitments for graduates, there are also specialist posts in banking sectors for law graduates which you can apply etc, now is it worthy or not for a science student to drop a year for clat depends upon various factors such as which colleges in specific are you targeting, if it's only NLUs then CLAT is the only option however as I mentioned there are other good colleges as well and moreover other law entrance exams also, if you wish to explore a career in law then it would have been more useful to apply for other exams as well, you have to ask yourself this questions, "how strong is your desire to pursue law as a career", the answer lies in your question, if you want to opt for courses in science stream, go ahead and do the same, however if you're aiming for a career in law, then apply for more than one exam, and keep possibilities open for admission in colleges/institutions beyond NLUs.
