It is not useless to have ba llb without clat. Clat entrance exam is a gateway to many top colleges and national universities. There are institutes which accept admission without entrance exam. You can join that.If you want to get into those universities you can appear for clat. If not you can get admission in other institutes. Ba llb from those colleges are also valid.

In order to get into National Law Universities, one requires to give CLAT exam and qualify in the exam. Many other colleges give exams on the basis of CLAT examinations or conduct their own examinations. Other law entrance exams include AILET, DU LLB, LSAT, and so on.
