can I get govt bams college in karnataka with 272 marks in neet??
Hey there,
With a score of 272 in NEET, your chances of securing admission to a government BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) college in Karnataka are quite limited. Here are some considerations:
Key Points:
-
Cutoff Trends: The cutoff for government BAMS colleges in Karnataka typically ranges from 300 to 400 marks for general categories. For reserved categories, cutoffs may be lower, but generally, 272 marks are on the lower end.
-
Category Considerations: If you belong to a reserved category (like SC/ST/OBC), you might have slightly better chances, but it will still be challenging.
-
Private Colleges: You may have a better chance of getting a seat in private BAMS colleges, where the cutoffs are usually lower than those of government institutions.
-
Management Quota: Exploring management quota seats in private colleges might be an option, although this will involve higher fees.
With 272 marks, it is unlikely that you will secure a seat in a government BAMS college in Karnataka. However, consider applying to private colleges or management quota options for better opportunities.

can I get bams govt college with 272 marks in karnataka
Hello there,
With 272 marks in NEET 2024, securing a BAMS seat in a government Ayurvedic college in Karnataka could be challenging, especially in the general category . The cut-off marks for government seats in BAMS courses typically range higher, especially for general and other unreserved categories.
However, if you belong to a reserved category (SC/ST/OBC) , you may still have a chance to get a government BAMS seat, as the cut-offs are usually lower for these categories. If not, you might have a better chance of getting a seat in private or semi-government colleges under the government quota .
It's best to participate in the
Karnataka AYUSH counseling
and stay updated on the cut-offs during each round, as they vary based on the number of applicants and seat availability each year.

can I get bams college with 272 marks in karnataka
Hey there,
With a score of 272 marks in NEET, your chances of getting admission to a BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) college in Karnataka are quite limited, particularly in government colleges. The cut-off marks for BAMS courses can vary each year, but generally, they are higher than your score, especially for government quota seats.
For the 2023 admissions cycle, many government BAMS colleges had cut-offs above 350 marks. However, some private BAMS colleges might consider lower scores for admissions, especially in management quota seats. You may want to explore private colleges in Karnataka where you might have a better chance of securing a seat.
It's advisable to check the specific cut-offs from the previous years for colleges like
Gulbarga University
,
KLE University
, and
RGUHS
. Additionally, participating in the counseling process and being flexible with your options can improve your chances. For detailed information, you can refer to the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) website or specific college admissions pages.

bams ka 1st year 18 months ka hita hai to scolership 18 months ke liye aayge ya 12 months samazkar aayegi plzzz ans hame collage me 12 month me he 2nd year ki fees mang li hai to scolership 12 month ke hisabse aaye ya 18 month as first yer ke hisab se aayge
Hello Ishika,
For BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) , the first year often lasts for 18 months instead of the usual 12 months due to the course structure. However, scholarships are typically disbursed on an annual basis (12 months), meaning you are likely to receive the scholarship amount for 12 months in a single academic year.
Since your first year extends to 18 months , the scholarship will still usually be calculated based on a 12-month cycle. This can cause confusion when colleges ask for fees for the second year earlier, as fees may be demanded based on their academic schedule rather than the scholarship period.
To clarify:
- You may receive the scholarship for 12 months of the first year.
- It's best to contact the scholarship authority or your college administration to understand whether any adjustments will be made for the extra months in the first year.
This way, you'll know how to plan for the second-year fees and any scholarship delays.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

Government College Admission Possibility
-
Cut-off Trends : In states like Karnataka and Maharashtra, BAMS cut-offs for government colleges tend to be higher. For example, last year, the cut-off for government BAMS colleges in Karnataka was around 400-500 marks for the general category. For ST and SC candidates, it can be slightly lower.
