It is difficult to answer the query without knowing the course for which you want to apply. Selection in BHU depends on the no. Of seats available for the course. If your course has seats of about 30-50 it is difficult to select but with seats 100-120 there are chances of selection. You may wait for counselling letter.  Also bhu will release its cutoff rank list soon so you may predict your chances with that.

Hi Aspirant. You have not mentioned your marks. From this year, BHU has announced a new rule that sc and St candidate should score minimum of 25% marks of the total score. So only and only if you have scored more than 75 marks you are eligible for getting admission. There is a cut throat competition going on every year for admission in BHU bsc agriculture as it has very less seats. Seeing your rank, you have a very less chance to secure a seat this year.

You have a number of options available to you. Before selecting the college you must realise which branch you prefer the most. Also what are the future options for you in the respective branch.

Engineering Science is a relatively new branch and gives you a lot of flexibility in terms of selecting a branch incase you are not sure about any branch.

Keeping that aside as far as colleges go there are a lot of factors that come into existence:

An older college will give you a better Alumni Network,which is also needed .

Incase you want to go for higher studies you must select a City that gives you adequate opportunities for coachings.

I am sorry to tell you but I don't think it's possible for you to get admission in BHU main campus with a general rank of 563 and Open Male rank of 386 in PET Maths. I think you should pursue some other college in order to get admission. I hope this information was helpful!

The total marks for entrance exam of BHU of any subject is 450 so your secured marks must be calculated out of 450. As per last year cutoff for b.com, selection was made upto rank 1231 and marks 192 under general category. Cutoff was little low for other reserved categories. You may calculate your chances.

You have to apply for deemed colleges registration and you are required to fill the fee payement if you are successfully alloted either of the college you only need to deposit fee of that particular college. And for counselling session also you are required to make payement once only.

Hiiii dear!!!!! No the cut off list of Banaras Hindu University has not yet been released. Though the results of many courses of the appeard candidates had been realeased on 15th June at night. The cut off lists of different courses are expected to be released by 30 th June since the counseling is going to start from 4th of July.
