As per the previous year cutoff trends, here are the cutoffs for a general candidate over the years - 

• In 2018 - cutoff marks - 151, cutoff rank - 290
  
• In 2017 - cutoff marks - 313, cutoff rank - 164
• In 2016 - cutoff marks - 276, cutoff rank - 122

It seems as if you have very slim to no chances of getting admission in BHU. Although, cutoffs don't remain the same every year so don't lose hope and wait patiently for the cutoffs over the rounds. But, in the meanwhile, do take care to keep a lookout for other colleges and institutes so that you can get a seat in the Institute of your choice.

Hi Nishu. You have not mentioned the name of the course in which you have scored this rank and marks. BHU conducts several entrance exams every year for its admission process. And every course has its different cutoff rank and marks. So until and unless you specify about the course, we won't be able to help you. 

Hello Vikas. You have not mentioned your category. There is no second cutoff list prepared for BHU BA. Seeing your general rank you have very less chance to secure a seat this year but seeing your category rank and assuming it to be obc, you have 50% chance. Last year's cutoff rank for obc was 975. But this year seats are going to be uncincrea as it has been officially announced by the officials. So you have a little bit of chance to get admission this year. You should definitely go to the counseling if you get the call letter.

And I got 10 th rank (OBC)in BHU pet applied microbiology and general rank of 61....

Hi Kaushik. You have a good chance to secure a seat this year. The cutoff marks for SC category in BHU bsc agriculture last year was 165. And total of 169 candidates of sc category were called. There are total of 19 seats in main campus and 6 seats in R.G.S.C  for SC candidates. Seeing your rank you can definitely secure a seat. You should definitely go to the counseling after getting the call letter.

Hi Aayushi. The last year's cutoff marks for BHU bsc agriculture was around 200. Seeing your rank, I don't think your marks is around 200. There is a cut throat competition going on to get admission in BHU bsc agriculture. I am sorry to inform you that you have not scored enough marks to secure a seat this year.

Hi Aspirant. You have scored good marks in the exam. Last year's cutoff rank was 775 for OBC candidates. So you have a good chance to secure a seat this year. But I am afraid that your marks is not enough to secure a seat in main campus this year. But you will surely get an affiliated college. 

Hi Rishi. Last year's cutoff for BHU BA(Hons) arts was 200 for general category. But last year, the exam was not of 360 marks rather it was of something around 460 marks. So, you have a nice chance of securing a seat. There are around 1500 seats in arts. So, if your rank is good, you have a chance. You must go for the counseling if you get the call letter.
